The Hybrid is the debut studio album by American rapper Danny Brown, released March 16, 2010.
The album, which was preceded by a number of free mixtapes, was also released as a free download, by Washington, DC record label Rappers I Know. The label later published the album on vinyl. [4] A deluxe edition of the album was released for sale on Amazon on January 18, 2011, [5] and later on iTunes on February 8, 2011, [6] via Hybrid Music.
This music collective is what led Fool's Gold founder Nick Catchdubs, to sign Danny Brown to his indie record label. The album received critical acclaim, with critics highly praising Brown's unique rapping style and the album's production.

Cameron Ezike Giles, better known by his stage name Cam'ron, is an American rapper. Beginning his career in the early-1990s as Killa Cam, Giles signed with Lance "Un" Rivera's Untertainment, an imprint of Epic Records to release his first two studio albums Confessions of Fire (1998) and S.D.E. (2000); the former received gold certification by the RIAA. After leaving Epic, Giles signed with Roc-A-Fella Records in 2001 to release his third studio album Come Home with Me the following year. It received platinum certification by the RIAA and spawned the singles "Oh Boy" and "Hey Ma", which peaked at numbers four and three respectively on the Billboard Hot 100. His fourth studio album, Purple Haze (2004) was met with similar success and likewise received gold certification by the RIAA.
Hybrid is a British electronic music duo consisting of Mike and Charlotte Truman. The group was formed in 1995 by Mike Truman, Chris Healings, and Lee Mullin. At the time they were primarily known as a breakbeat collective, although they overlapped considerably with progressive house and trance.
