Gladys Staines is the widow of Australian missionary Graham Staines. Graham Staines was burnt alive along with their two sons Philip and Timothy by a mob led by the Bajrang Dal activist Dara Singh in Odisha, India on 22 January 1999.

The film is backed by Yoodlee Films, a production venture of Saregama.The film won the Fresh Blood competition at the Beaune International Thriller Film Festival, France 2018. Sushama Deshpande, who played ‘Ajji’ won The Flame Award at the UK Asian Film Festival and received a special jury mention for her performance in the film at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA). Ajji was officially invited to compete at the 2017 Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) and was showcased in the New Currents section of the 22nd Korean film extravaganza. Ajji was also a part of the Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI) which took place 12–18 October and was played as a part of the India Gold category. Other official selection for festivals include Dharamshala International Film Festival, Singapore International Film Festival and Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. The film was nominated for the Netpac Award at the 2018 Rotterdam International Film Festival. The film was released on 24 November 2017. Ajji is now available on Amazon Prime Video.

Junglee (transl. Wild) is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language action adventure film directed by Chuck Russell in his directorial debut in Hindi cinema and produced by Junglee Pictures. It stars Vidyut Jammwal, Pooja Sawant, Asha Bhat and Atul Kulkarni. In the film, a veterinary doctor returns to his father's elephant reserve, where he encounters and clashes against an international poacher's racket. The film features martial arts and action choreography performed by Jammwal.

Posham Pa is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language psychological thriller film directed by Suman Mukhopadhyay. The film stars Mahie Gill, Sayani Gupta, Ragini Khanna in the main lead roles. The title generally refers to a children's rhyme but the film theme depicts the mass murder of children by serial killers. The plot of the film based on a real true story of serial killers Anjana, and her two daughters Seema Gavit and Renuka Shinde who kidnapped more than 40 children and murdered around 12 children on 19 November 1996. Seema and Renuka received death penalty in 2014 for committing the mass murder of 12 children while their mother Anjana died in 1997 while serving her punishment at prison. The film was released via the ZEE5 platform on 23 August 2019 and received generally positive reviews from the audience and critics.

The film stars Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role and is based on the true story of Arjun Sen, a cancer survivor facing life-altering surgery as well as navigating a complex relationship with his daughter since her childhood. Principal photography took place in California. The trailer was launched on 5 November 2024.
