The Looks is the debut album by Mstrkrft, released on 18 July 2006. All songs were written by Jesse F. Keeler and Al-P.
In the 15–21 June 2006 edition of The Stranger , Keeler explains the origin of the album's title: "My girlfriend and I were watching American Idol , and judge Randy critiqued this one girl as having 'the looks' but not the talent. So we laughed at this intangible thing 'the looks' that can be good or bad, and later it became [our] album title. Because if you think about it, it doesn't mean anything, especially in terms of our album."
The earliest version of the track "Paris" was composed on a laptop, on a plane taking Keeler and Al-P back home after a trip in Paris. "Easy Love" and "Paris" were made available on the band's MySpace account before the album's release.
The cover art was designed by Seripop and won the Juno award for Best CD/DVD Cover Design of the Year in 2007.

Jesse Frederick Keeler is a Canadian musician. He is known as the bassist, backing vocalist, and synthesist of Canadian dance-punk duo Death from Above and one half of the electronic music duo MSTRKRFT. In addition to singing, Keeler plays drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, and saxophone, as well as work as a producer, lending to music of a variety of styles over the course of his career, including punk, hardcore, rock, house, and electro.
Romance Bloody Romance: Remixes & B-Sides is a 2005 remix album by Death from Above. This album is a collection of remixes of songs featured on the album You're a Woman, I'm a Machine released in October 2004. The tracks "Better Off Dead" and "You're Lovely " are B-sides. The group MSTRKRFT was, at the time, a side project of Jesse F. Keeler, who was one half of Death from Above 1979. The Girl on Girl name is the alias of the other half of Death from Above 1979, Sebastien Grainger. The album is their only release to chart on Billboard by hitting number twenty-two on its Top Electronic Albums chart.
Mstrkrft is a Canadian electronic music duo from Toronto. The group was started in 2005 by Jesse F. Keeler of Death from Above and Al-P formerly of the Mississauga, Ontario electropop group Girlsareshort. Al-P was also the producer for Death from Above 1979's album You're a Woman, I'm a Machine as well as several of Black Cat #13's records. The duo have been close friends, as well as work partners, for a long time. Mstrkrft also produced Die Mannequin's first EP, How to Kill, and Magneta Lane's second LP, Dancing With Daggers.

Keeler. Al-P was producer for Black Cat 13, Death from Above's album You're a Woman, I'm a Machine and The Sick Lipstick's Sting Sting Sting.
Zipper Down is the fourth studio album from American rock band Eagles of Death Metal. It was released on October 2, 2015. The first single, "Complexity", was made available for streaming on Pitchfork Media's website in June 2015. The entire album was made available to stream in an exclusive by NPR on their website, on September 23, 2015. "Oh Girl", "I Love You All The Time" and "Complexity" were previously on Boots Electric's first album Honkey Kong and were remade for Zipper Down.
Incarnate is the seventh studio album by American metalcore band Killswitch Engage, released on March 11, 2016. The band released "Strength of the Mind" as a promotional single from the album on December 11, 2015 and revealed the title of the album six days later. The band toured to promote the album with Memphis May Fire and 36 Crazyfists. On January 26, 2016, the track listing was revealed. Three singles were released from the album: "Strength of the Mind" on December 11, "Hate by Design" on January 29 and "Cut Me Loose" on February 19.
