The Los Sri Lanka Parakramabahu Brothers Featuring Elio e le Storie Tese is a maxi single by Italian rock band Elio e le Storie Tese.
A maxi single or maxi-single is a music single release with more than the usual two tracks of an A-side song and a B-side song.
Elio e le Storie Tese, often abbreviated EelST, was an Italian comedy rock band from Milan, formed in 1980. Its leader was Stefano Belisari, better known as Elio. They announced their split on 17 October 2017, on Italian TV program Le Iene.
The title refers to Elio e le Storie Tese pretending that two Sri Lankan people, who were called to clean the rehearsal studio, are the actual authors of the album. [1] [2] The single was publicized at the time as a full-length album, although the band has always intended it as a special Christmas single.
