The New Kids is the first compilation album by South Korean boy band iKON, released through YG Entertainment on January 7, 2019. [1] It is a compilation of the 2017 single album New Kids: Begin , the 2018 album Return , the digital single "Rubber Band", and the EPs New Kids: Continue and New Kids: The Final . It features the lead single and only new track, "I'm OK".
This is the last iKON album to feature the appearance of member B.I before his departure in June 2019.
YG Entertainment announced the album on Twitter on December 27, 2018, posting that the album would be available online from January 7, 2019, and as a physical version from January 8. [1] It serves as a repackage and compilation of the other entries in the New Kids series, from 2017 to 2018. [1]
iKON played an encore concert in Seoul, where they debuted the single "I'm OK". [2] Along with concerts in Japan, Australia, and other Asian countries, they also performed on the 2018 year-end music show MBC Gayo Daejejeon . [2]

BigBang is a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment. The group consists of three members: G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. Originally a five-piece band, Seungri retired from the entertainment industry in March 2019 and T.O.P left in May 2023. Dubbed the "Kings of K-pop", they helped spread the Korean Wave internationally and are considered one of the most influential acts in K-pop. They are known for their trendsetting musical experimentation, self-production, and stage presence.
CNBLUE is a South Korean pop rock band formed in 2009. The band consists of Jung Yong-hwa, Kang Min-hyuk (drums), and Lee Jung-shin (bass). First bassist Kwon Kwang-jin left the band after they released their debut Japanese extended play Now or Never in 2009, and was replaced by Lee Jung-shin. Lee Jong-hyun left the band on August 28, 2019.
Alive is the fifth Korean extended play by South Korean boy group Big Bang, released through YG Entertainment on February 29, 2012. Musically, it is a dance and electronic record that incorporates elements of hip hop and R&B. Kim Han-bin, known professionally as B.I (Korean: 비아이) is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and dancer. He debuted in the South Korean boy band IKon under YG Entertainment in September 2015. On June 12, 2019, he departed from the group due to drug allegations. During his time with the group, he played a significant role in the production and songwriting of their music, and is credited as the sole record producer for all of the group's releases. His contributions to iKon's second studio album, Return, for the lead single "Love Scenario", earned him the prestigious "Songwriter of the Year" award at the 2018 Melon Music Awards.
Kim Ji-won, known by his stage name Bobby (Korean: 바비) is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, and member of iKon. In 2016, he formed a sub-unit with Mino under the name MOBB. He is best known for finishing in first place on Mnet's survival show Show Me The Money 3.
iKon (Korean: 아이콘), stylized as iKON, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2015 by YG Entertainment. The lineup consists of six members: Jay, Song, Bobby, DK, Ju-ne, and Chan. Originally a seven-piece band, leader B.I departed from the group in June 2019.
