iKon concert chronology

iKoncert 2016: Showtime Tour (stylized as iKONCERT 2016: Showtime Tour) was the first Asian tour by South Korean boy band iKon, in support of their debut studio album Welcome Back . The tour visited South Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. The tour began on January 30, 2016 in Seoul at Olympic Gymnastics Arena [1] and ended on September 3, 2016 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Background

Following iKon's Japanese debut on January 13, 2016, the band embarked on their first Japanese arena tour "iKoncert: Showtime Tour in Japan 2016". [2] Announced on October 5, 2015, the tour was originally set to visit 3 cities for an audience of 95,000. [3] After adding 2 more cities, the tour gathered a total of 146,000 congert-goers from 14 shows: [4] 8,000 from two shows in Fukuoka, [5] 13,000 from Tokyo [6] and 24,000 from Osaka. [4]

On March 17, YG Entertainment announced 2 cities to commence iKon's Showtime Tour in Asia. The cities were Taiwan and Hong Kong. [7] Afterwards, Chengdu, Nanjing, Shenzhen and Shanghai in China were included as well. The tour eventually expanded to include Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. [8] [9] [10]

Kim Han-bin, known professionally as B.I (Korean: 비아이) is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and dancer. He debuted in the South Korean boy band IKon under YG Entertainment in September 2015. On June 12, 2019, he departed from the group due to drug allegations. During his time with the group, he played a significant role in the production and songwriting of their music, and is credited as the sole record producer for all of the group's releases. His contributions to iKon's second studio album, Return, for the lead single "Love Scenario", earned him the prestigious "Songwriter of the Year" award at the 2018 Melon Music Awards.

iKon South Korean boy band

iKon (Korean: 아이콘), stylized as iKON, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2015 by YG Entertainment. The lineup consists of six members: Jay, Song, Bobby, DK, Ju-ne and Chan. Originally a seven-piece band, leader B.I departed from the group in June 2019.

The song was released digitally on November 11, 2014 by YG Entertainment and KT Music. This is the unit's only release before Lee Hi's departure from YG Entertainment on December 31, 2019. Blackpink's Jisoo appeared in the music video.

Exit: E is the first extended play by South Korean group Winner. It was released on February 1, 2016, 18 months after their debut album 2014 S/S back in 2014. As with their first album, the members contributed heavily to the songwriting and production aspects of Exit: E. The album was also Winner's last with member Nam Tae-hyun, who left the group on 25 November 2016.
