The One That Got Away is the sixth and last full-length album by Thin White Rope. The double CD is a recording of the band's last show and was recorded live on 28 June 1992, at Democrazy in Gent, Belgium. It comprises the entire show, except for "The Ruby Sea" and "Moonhead", which were released as a 7" vinyl single (Frontier 46787), and Thing, which has never been released in any format to date.

The Loud Family

The Loud Family was a San Francisco-based power pop band formed in 1991 by songwriter and guitarist Scott Miller, who previously led the 1980s band Game Theory. The Loud Family released six studio LPs and one live LP from 1991 through 2006. After Miller's death in 2013, three Loud Family members participated in recording sessions for Supercalifragile (2017), Miller's posthumous Game Theory album.

Bim Skala Bim formed in Boston as a ska band that was influenced by the bands in England’s two-tone movement as well as artists such as the Clash, UB40 and Bob Marley. Their "Boston Blue Beat" sound, a mix of upbeat two-tone ska, rock ‘n’ roll and calypso with a substantial reggae undertone, made them, along with The Toasters, the premier bands kickstarting the third wave of ska in the 1980s. Other bands quickly followed their example resulting in a lively scene in Boston and much of the United States.
