The Willis Tower is a 108-story, 1,450-foot (442.1 m) skyscraper in Chicago. The tower has 108 stories as counted by standard methods, though the building's owners count the main roof as 109 and the mechanical penthouse roof as 110. At completion in 1974, it surpassed the World Trade Center in New York City to become the tallest building in the world, a title that it held for nearly 25 years; it was also the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere for 41 years, until the new One World Trade Center surpassed it in 2013.

As of 2021 it is the eleventh-tallest residential tower in the world, the tallest building in Australia, the second tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere, and the third-tallest free-standing structure in the Southern Hemisphere, behind the Autograph Tower in Jakarta, Indonesia, and the Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand. The Q1 officially opened in November 2005.

The Torre Mayor is a skyscraper in Mexico City, Mexico. With a height of 225 meters to the top floor and 55 stories, it is the third tallest building in Mexico. It was surpassed in height by Torre BBVA Bancomer in 2015, which in turn was surpassed by Torre Reforma. From its completion in 2003 until 2010 it was also the tallest building in Latin America. The Torre Mayor was developed by Canadian businessman Paul Reichmann, who also maintained part ownership until his death in 2013. It is also part-owned by a group of institutional investors. The building was designed by the architectural firms of Zeidler Partnership Architects and Executive Architects Adamson Associates Architects, both of Toronto. The structural engineers and designers were The Cantor Seinuk Group from New York City in association with Enrique Martínez Romero S.A. in Mexico City.

Lake Point Tower is a high-rise residential building located on a promontory of the Lake Michigan waterfront in Chicago, just north of the Chicago River at 505 North Lake Shore Drive. Completed in 1968, it is in the Streeterville neighborhood on the Near North Side. Located adjacent to Navy Pier, the building is the only skyscraper that sits east of Lake Shore Drive in the city.

The Faros del Panamá is a skyscraper complex currently cancelled in Panama City, Panama. The complex, designed by Chapman Taylor, includes Torre Central, an 84 floor building with a planned height of 346 metres. Like its name states, Torre Central is in the middle of Faros de Panamá's three tower complex. Torre Central will be the tallest of the three, rising from a common podium with the other two towers. The two smaller towers, rising on either side of Torre Central will be similar in design. They are named, very simply, Torre Oeste on the west and Torre Este on the east. Despite being small compared to Torre Central, the East and West Tower will still be 290 m tall and have 73 floors. The name of the complex, Faros del Panamá, translates into English as Lighthouses of Panama.
Ocean Two is a residential skyscraper in the Costa del Este district of Panama City, Panama. Construction of the 73-story, 245.7 m (806 ft) building began in 2006 and was completed in 2010. At the time of its completion, it became the tallest building in Panama and Latin America. It was then surpassed by The Point in 2011.
Bicsa Financial Center, first named Ice Tower, then Star Bay Tower, is a 66-story skyscraper in Avenida Balboa, Panama City. Standing 267 m (876 ft) tall, it is the third tallest building in Panama City and fourth in Latin America.
