"Pop Muzik" is a 1979 song by M, a project by English musician Robin Scott, from the debut album New York • London • Paris • Munich. The single, first released in the UK in early 1979, was bolstered by a music video that was well received by critics. The clip featured Scott as a DJ singing into a microphone from behind an exaggerated turntable setup, at times flanked by two female models who sang and danced in a robotic manner. The video also featured Brigit Novik, Scott's wife at the time, who provided the backup vocals for the track.

Label This! is the third studio album from Finnish trance DJ Darude. Released on October 24, 2007 in Finland and on October 27 in Europe, the American edition was released in 2008, with the notable inclusion of Darude's newest single, "I Ran " featuring Blake Lewis, as the third track on the album. The tech mix of "Stars" has also been cut, keeping the number of tracks at 12. Unlike Darude's two previous album releases, this one did not chart, though the reviews were positive, with Gawker writing that the album's single "In the Darkness" "is a floating, gossamer piece of trance music of the kind AraabMuzik spun into such magic on Electronic Dream. Like 'Sandstorm,' it's tightly composed, easy to dance to, and has a soaring, undeniable hook."

Black Mask, Black Gloves is the second solo studio album by American rapper Hell Rell. It was released on July 22, 2008 via Babygrande Records. Production was handled by AraabMuzik, Kajmir Royale, Hassiditty, GoodWill & MGI, Manti, and Hell Rell himself. It features guest appearances from J.R. Writer and Sen City. The album debuted at number 131 on the Billboard 200, selling 5,390 copies in its first week. The first single released from the album was "Get Ready".
