Christian Joseph, [2] known online as The Rizzler, is an American social media personality from New Jersey. [3] He is best known for his "rizz face", an expression where he squints his eyes while stroking his chin and pursing his lips. [4] [5] He has gained over a million followers on TikTok after virality on the app. [6]

Joseph was born in New Jersey on April 19, 2016. [2] [7] He is in third grade. [4]

Career

Joseph first gained attention in 2023 when a video of him wearing a Black Panther Halloween costume went viral. [8] [9] He is known for his "rizz face", which involves squinting his eyes, raising one eyebrow, lowering the other, and pursing his lips — an expression often referred to as "mewing". [10] The nickname "The Rizzler" originates from "rizz", a Generation Z slang term meaning "charisma". [10]

Joseph collaborates frequently with Eric Befumo, known as "Big Justice", and his father, A.J. Befumo, known together as the Costco Guys. They are not related. [4] [11] On October 28, 2024 he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with the Costco Guys. [12]

On 2 October 2024, Joseph was featured in the "Crew Version" of the song "We Bring the BOOM!" The song, directed by A.J. and Big Justice, featured many people who frequently collaborate with the two. [13] Joseph also collaborated with Eric D'Alessandro on a Christmas song named "Merry Rizzmas". [14]
