The Settlers Online (German : Die Siedler Online, known as The Settlers Online: Castle Empire in the United States) is a freemium, online browser-based version inspired by The Settlers . [2] A beta version of the game was released in Germany, Russia, and North America on October 22, 2010, [3] with the final build released worldwide on September 19, 2011. [1]
In the game, the player has to build a city, defeat bandit camps and complete quests to earn XP and level up, unlocking different new buildings, mines and soldiers.

In 2007, the Gold Edition was ported to the Nintendo DS, under the title The Settlers and released in Germany in July, and the United Kingdom and North America in August. Although adapted for the dual-screen display of the DS, and with controls specifically programmed for use with the DS stylus, the gameplay, game mechanics, graphics and storyline are unaltered. In September, they released The Settlers: Rise of an Empire - Gold Edition, containing the original game plus the Eastern Realm expansion, and additional single and multiplayer maps. Kingdom Under Fire II was a video game set in a high fantasy setting developed by Blueside which merged real-time strategy (RTS), role-playing game (RPG) and massively multiplayer online game (MMO) genres. The game had a single-player and an online multiplayer mode. The game followed on chronologically from Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom, and was the first RTS game set in the Kingdom Under Fire universe to be released since the 2005 Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes. Developed by Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft, it was released worldwide in March 2010. It is the seventh game in The Settlers series. Blue Byte released three DLC packs in 2010; Uncharted Land, Conquest - The Empire, and Rise of the Rebellion(German: DLC Pack 3), released in July, September, and December, respectively. In March 2011, The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom - Deluxe Gold Edition was released, containing the original game, the three packs, an unlock code for an upcoming fourth pack, and a copy of The Settlers III. Anno Online was a free-to-play strategy browser game by Ubisoft. It was a spin-off of the Anno series. The players could develop and manage island braced cities from the first settlers to commercial empires.
The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot was a free-to-play action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal. The game combined castle building and dungeon crawling mechanics: each player built a castle filled with traps and monsters and then attacked other players' castles, earning gold and equipment. While the castle attacks were single player affairs, the game required the player to be online as the castles they attacked were those of other players. FIFA World is a defunct free-to-play massively multiplayer online football game developed by EA Canada. It was announced on 9 August 2013 and later an open beta was released on 12 November 2013 in Brazil and Russia.
