Mortiis is an electronic band from Notodden, Norway fronted by Håvard Ellefsen, who is also known as the namesake of the band. The name is a misspelling of the word "mortis", which is the pronunciation used by the band. Mortiis started as the solo project of Ellefsen as a means to convey a story. This aspect was lost over time and Mortiis slowly formed into a band. Ellefsen previously played bass in the black metal band Emperor (1991–1992), prior to forming this project in 1993. The time he spent in his previous band laid the groundworks for mixing black metal elements with various electronic genres, with these being touched upon across each "era" of the band.

Cruelty and the Beast is the third studio album by English extreme metal band Cradle of Filth. It is a concept album based on the legend of the Hungarian "blood countess" Elizabeth Báthory and features guest narration by actress Ingrid Pitt in-character as Báthory, a role she first played in the Hammer Horror film Countess Dracula in 1971. It was released on 5 May 1998 by record label Music for Nations.
Burn the Priest is the debut studio album by the American heavy metal band Burn the Priest. The album was released on April 4, 1999, by Legion Records. It was the band's only release before being re-named to Lamb of God until the release of Legion: XX, and also the only album by the band to feature guitarist Abe Spear.

Sarah Jane, better known by her stage name Sarah Jezebel Deva, is an English singer. She was the female soprano vocalist for Cradle of Filth for 14 years and the frontwoman of the band Angtoria for 10 years. In 2009, Deva started her self-titled solo project, releasing two studio albums and one EP from 2010 to 2012, and in 2020 announced she would be working with former Angtoria bandmate Chris Rehn on a new project entitled Torn Between Two Worlds.
"Decadent & Desperate" is the second single released by Norwegian industrial-rock solo artist Mortiis from the album The Grudge. It includes the previously unreleased track Underdog, along with various remixes and live songs not taken from the album. All versions were numbered limited editions. The music video shows Mortiis both with, and without his prosthetic make-up.
The Stargate is an album by Norwegian solo artist Mortiis that was scheduled for release with the book Secrets of My Kingdom, alongside a limited gold press version of the CD, which was for unknown reasons later released in 2001, prior to The Smell of Rain. The LP was a 3-sided gatefold with a 12" fold-out lyric sheet. The fourth side was etched. Initially there was to be a large poster, however this was dropped by the record label. There was going to be a reprint of this CD, but it never happened.
Live Bait for the Dead is a live album by Cradle of Filth, recorded at Nottingham Rock City on 14 April 2001 and released on 19 August 2002. The album was released and distributed on the band's own Abracadaver label. The same gig is included on the DVD Heavy, Left-Handed and Candid. Following the same format as Lovecraft & Witch Hearts, the main album is supplemented by a second disc of rare tracks and remixes. This would be bassist Robin Eaglestone's final recorded appearance.
Angtoria was a symphonic metal band composed of British singer Sarah Jezebel Deva and Swedish brothers Chris and Tommy Rehn.
Sides is the fourth studio album by English musician and composer Anthony Phillips. It was released in April 1979 by Arista Records in the United Kingdom and in June 1979 on Passport Records in the United States. After completing Private Parts & Pieces (1978), an album of home recordings that Phillips had recorded years before but remained unreleased, Phillips returned to making a commercial record. The UK release saw the first 5,000 copies of Sides packaged with a Collectors Album edition of Private Parts & Pieces.
V Empire or Dark Faerytales in Phallustein is the first EP by English extreme metal band Cradle of Filth, and the first release following their 1994 debut studio album The Principle of Evil Made Flesh. It was released on 22 April 1996, and was the band's final release for Cacophonous Records.
God Has a Plan for Us All is the first full-length album by Angtoria, released on 8 May 2006. It was received well by the international media and the special edition of the album sold-out soon after its release date . The band recorded a video for the title track. Lyrical themes deal mostly with child abuse, self-harm and abuse in general. The lyrics for the album are very personal. According to Sarah Jezebel Deva, "the title refers to that despite what happens, religious people always back themselves up with: 'God has a plan for us all' and 'It is as He wills it.' "
The MOFO Project/Object is an album by Frank Zappa. The album was announced by the Zappa Family Trust in mid-2006. It commemorates the 40th anniversary of Zappa's first album, Freak Out!. It documents the making of Freak Out! featuring previously unreleased material. It was released as a uniquely packaged 4-CD set. It is project/object #1 in a series of 40th Anniversary FZ Audio Documentaries.
Yellow Submarine Songtrack is a compilation/soundtrack album by the English rock band the Beatles, released in 1999 to coincide with a re-release of the 1968 animated film Yellow Submarine that same year. The film was re-released on 13 September 1999 in the United Kingdom and the following day in the United States. In contrast with other Beatles remasters available, the songs were fully remixed by Peter Cobbin at Abbey Road Studios from the original multitrack tapes, something not done for the original CD release of the Beatles catalogue in the late 1980s, nor the 2009 remastered albums.
Fillmore West 1969 is a three-CD live album by the rock band the Grateful Dead. It contains selected songs recorded at the Fillmore West in San Francisco on February 27 through March 2, 1969. The album was remixed and remastered from the original 16-track concert soundboard tapes. The album is packaged as a hardcover booklet, with photos of the band and an essay by Dennis McNally.
"Say Once More" is a 1988 single by Christian music singer Amy Grant. It was released as the fifth single from Grant's Lead Me On album. Unlike some of Grant's previous singles, this song made an impact on Christian radio but not on pop or "mainstream" radio.

A Traveler's Guide to Space and Time is the first box set by German power metal band Blind Guardian. It contains 15 CDs and covers the bands discography during the so-called Virgin years, between 1988 and 2004. Along with seven studio albums, two live albums and one compilation album, it also includes Imaginations Through the Looking Glass in audio format, a special edition of Nightfall In Middle-Earth and a CD of demos and rarities. It also came with a 20-page glossy booklet, limited and numbered Blind Guardian art print on special paper and a guitar pick with band logo. It is a strictly limited edition, as only 8000 copies were made worldwide.
