The Southern Comfort is the fifth album by Emil Bulls, released on June 20, 2005. Singles from this album were "Newborn" then "Revenge". It is their first release with Fabian Fuess playing the drums. DJ Zamzoe (Paul Rzyttka) is featured on the record but not as part of the band as he had previously left the band to pursue other projects.

Fischerspooner were an electroclash duo and performance troupe formed in 1998 in Chicago after meeting in school. The name is a combination of the founders' last names, Warren Fischer and Casey Spooner.

Lemonade and Brownies is the debut studio album by the American rock band Sugar Ray. It was produced by the band's director friend Joseph McGinty "McG" Nichol and executive produced by DJ Lethal. Actress Nicole Eggert is featured on the cover. Even though the album did not chart and was a commercial and critical failure for Atlantic Records, the band stayed on the label, going on to huge success. The guitars on Lemonade and Brownies were played entirely on drop D tuning.

Matthews Southern Comfort (MSC) was originally a British country rock/folk rock band, formed in 1970 by former Fairport Convention singer Ian Matthews. The original line-up consisted of Matthews, lead guitarist Mark Griffiths, rhythm guitarist Carl Barnwell, bass player Pete Watkins, drummer Roger Swallow and pedal steel guitarist Gordon Huntley. Watkins and Swallow, however, left the band after just a few weeks and were replaced by bass player Andy Leigh and drummer Ray Duffy.
