The Summer Obsession is an American punk rock band formed in 2004, known for mixing punk, hip hop, electronica, reggae, and many other genres.

History

The band was originally formed in 2004 by Fin Leavell & Luke Walker, joined just a few months later by Chris Wilson. The band has toured with Cartel, Mýa, Story of the Year, Saosin, Sugarcult, The Click Five, Permanent Me, Hit the Lights, Houston Calls, Monty Are I, Against All Authority, Whole Wheat Bread, Plain White T's, and New Years Day. Two Types Of People was the first CD released by the outfit. The group was slated to play on dates of the 2004 Warped Tour, but their stage was cancelled; after finding this out, they moved to Los Angeles, where they landed a deal with Virgin Records. [1] [2] The group saw early exposure through MySpace, as founder Tom Anderson was an early for their music. [3] Late in 2005, they appeared on a MySpace Records compilation. [1]

This Is Where You Belong was their debut major label album, released in August 2006 on Virgin Records. [4] [5] They appeared on Cartoon Network's Fridays and performed the songs "Melt the Sugar" and "Disappear". They have also played in Japan on two occasions.

Cauda Pavonis are an English deathrock band founded in 1998, by Su Farr and Dave Wainwright. Originally conceived as a 'dark romantic' experience, Cauda Pavonis broke onto the UK goth circuit supporting acts such as Star Industry and Inkubus Sukkubus. At the outset Cauda Pavonis were noted for their consciously-minimalist synthesized melodies and their use of live drums. They were described by Mick Mercer in his book 21st Century Goth as a "Dark duo from UK with a bright future" and by Starvox as "The most old school sounding goth since Rozz Williams hung himself". Sea of Treachery is an American metalcore/deathcore band from Hebron, Kentucky, United States, formed in 2004. Since forming, they have released three EPs and two full-length studio albums, the first being At Daggers Drawn, which was released on April 29, 2008 on Sumerian Records, and the second being Wonderland, released on December 14, 2010 on Blkheart Group. The digital version of Wonderland, featuring a bonus track, was released January 4, 2011. In early 2012, the band had reformed with the original line-up who were on the At Daggers Drawn record, played a reunion show in Newport, Kentucky, and have also announced more shows around the tri-state area.
