The Taste of Relations is a family drama/thriller film directed and produced by Mukesh Asopa, a Canadian director and producer. [1] [2] It was released in 2009 by Asopa Film Incorporation and Twinkle Productions. [3] It is the second film from the Canadian-based Asopa Films Incorporation, Twinkle Productions and Asopa Films International. [4] The first was Aisha and Rahul.
The Taste of Relation revolves around an Indian family living in Canada. [5] It exemplifies the misfortunes and joyful times of the family, along with exploring the themes of family values and loss. [6] This film is a culmination of western culture and eastern values highlighting sacrifice and a lesson for the younger generation. [7]
The Taste of Relation won the Van Gogh Award for Cinematography at the Amsterdam Film Festival in 2010 and Special Jury Award at the California Film Awards. [8] The film earned global acclaim at several international festivals. [9]
Raj, John, and Cathrine, children of Ram Nandi, an entrepreneur based in Canada, live as a happy family until financial adversities strike due to Raj’s reckless business decisions, causing emotional turmoil amongst the family members. [10]
As a family drama, The Taste of Relation highlights the power of love and family values with the added themes of religion, culture, drama, business, love and sacrifice. [11] It shows how circumstances can separate relatives and how brave acts of love can bring them back together.

Mukesh Chand Mathur, better known mononymously as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer. Mukesh is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed playback singers of the Hindi film industry. Amongst the numerous nominations and awards he won, his song "Kai Baar Yuhi Dekha Hai" from the film Rajnigandha (1973) won him the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer.

Abhimaan is a 1973 Indian Hindi musical drama film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Asrani, Bindu and David.
Khel Khel Mein is a 1975 Indian Hindi-language suspense thriller film directed by Ravi Tandon. It was an adaption of the English novel Good Guys Don't Kill written by Louis Thomas. The film music was composed by R. D. Burman and the lyrics written by Gulshan Bawra. The film stars Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and Rakesh Roshan as college students, who play a prank and get involved with a notorious criminal. The film turns quickly from fun and frolic to a taut thriller. Iftekhar, Dev kumar and Aruna Irani also star in the film. The film was remade in Malayalam language as Aruthu (1976). The 1992 film Khiladi was reported to be a rehash of this movie.
Daddy is a 2001 Telugu-language family drama film directed by Suresh Krissna. It stars Chiranjeevi, Simran and Ashima Bhalla, with music composed by S. A. Rajkumar. The film was produced by Allu Aravind under the Geetha Arts banner. The film was dubbed into Tamil and Hindi as Dance Master and Meri Izzat in 2003 and 2008 respectively.
Chhalia is a 1960 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Manmohan Desai. It stars Raj Kapoor, Nutan, Pran, Rehman and Shobhna Samarth. The story is loosely based on the 1848 short story "White Nights" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, but is focused on the issue of estranged wives and children in the aftermath of Partition. Chhalia was shot in black-and-white. Music by Kalyanji-Anandji, played a part in the film's box office success.
Do Jasoos is a 1975 Hindi comedy drama film. Produced and directed by Naresh Kumar, the film stars Raj Kapoor, Rajendra Kumar, Aruna Irani, Prem Chopra, Kamal Kapoor, Farida Jalal and Asit Sen. The music is by Ravindra Jain.

International Khiladi is a 1999 Indian action drama film directed by Umesh Mehra starring Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna in the lead roles. In an interview with Lehren Network, Khanna said that the film didn't follow a conventional script while Kumar stated that the film had more of romance than action. Indian film trade website Box Office India gave the film a "Below Average" rating.

Narayana, Charan Raj, Suthi Velu, Rajasekhar, Narra Venkateswara Rao, and Y. Vijaya who appear in supporting roles. Music is composed by K. Chakravarthy.

Jaan is a 1996 Hindi-language action drama film directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Ashok Ghai. The film stars Ajay Devgn, with Twinkle Khanna, Amrish Puri, Shakti Kapoor and Suresh Oberoi. It was theatrically released in United States on 31 March 1996 and India as well as other countries on 17 May 1996. The film's soundtrack was composed by Anand–Milind. Upon release, it was commercially successful, grossing ₹17.20 crore (US$2.2 million) worldwide. The film was declared a "super hit" at the box office.

Beti No.1 is a 2000 Hindi-language comedy drama film, written by Santosh Saroj and directed by T. Rama Rao. The film was released on 10 November 2000. It is a remake of the Malayalam film Aadyathe Kanmani.
Seethakoka Chilaka (transl. Butterfly) is a 1981 Indian Telugu-language romance film directed by Bharathiraja. The film was produced by Edida Nageswara Raa on Poornodaya Movie Creations banner and was simultaneously shot alongside its Tamil version titled Alaigal Oivathillai. Murali played the lead role in both versions of the film, making his career debut in both the language versions simultaneously. Mucherla Aruna plays the female lead, while Radha played the same character in the Tamil version. Aruna and Radha made their acting debuts in each of the versions of the film. The film was retrospectively featured in the Indian Panorama section of the 9th International Film Festival of India, 1983. The film won five Nandi Awards.
Aah is a 1953 black and white Bollywood romantic drama film starring Raj Kapoor and Nargis in lead roles. The film was produced by Raj Kapoor and directed by Raja Nawathe. This was Nawathe's first independent directorial venture. He had previously worked as assistant director to Kapoor in Aag (1948), Barsaat (1949) and Awaara (1951).

Insaan (transl. Human) is a 1982 Indian Hindi-language action drama film, produced by Ved Khanna Mukesh Movies and directed by Narendra Bedi. It stars Vinod Khanna, Jeetendra, Reena Roy and music composed by Laxmikant–Pyarelal. Kishore Jariwala, brother of Bollywood actor Sanjeev Kumar, plays the role of an ex-soldier. The movie was among the last movies of Vinod Khanna before he took a hiatus from the Hindi film industry to join Rajneeshpuram in Oregon, USA.
Seetayya is a 2003 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Y. V. S. Chowdary and written by Posani Krishna Murali. It stars late Nandamuri Harikrishna son of late Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao as lead actor and late Soundarya, Simran as co-stars. Music for the movie was well received and composed by M.M. Keeravani.This film was declared as a super hit at the box-office.

Manoharam (transl. Alluring) is a 2000 Indian Telugu-language-language action drama film produced by Mullapudi Brahmanandam, Sunkara Madhu Murali under the M.R.C & Melody Combines banner and directed by Gunasekhar. It stars Jagapati Babu, Laya and music composed by Mani Sharma. The film won four Nandi Awards.

Bangaru Kutumbam is a 1994 Telugu-language drama film, produced by Kaikala Nageswara Rao under the Ramaa Films banner, presented by Satyanarayana and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao.
