Deron John Miller is an American musician and songwriter. He is best known as the former lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band CKY, which he co-founded in 1998. Other bands Miller fronts include the progressive metal band Foreign Objects, the melodic death metal band World Under Blood, the death metal band Malevolent Creation, and the alternative metal band 96 Bitter Beings.
Malevolent Creation is an American death metal band formed in Buffalo, New York in 1987 and later based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The band's original members were rhythm guitarist Phil Fasciana, vocalist Bret Hoffmann, lead guitarist Jim Nickles, bassist Jason Blachowicz and drummer Dennis Kubas. Fasciana is the only founding member who stayed with the band consistently.

Bret David Hoffmann was an American death metal vocalist. He fronted Fire for Effect, Resthaven and South of Resthaven, and was a former member of Malevolent Creation and Down the Drain. Hoffmann performed on the first three Malevolent Creation releases until he left the band after 1993's Stillborn album. He then returned, and performed on The Fine Art of Murder and Envenomed before leaving again and being replaced by Kyle Symons.

Stillborn is the third studio album by Florida death metal band Malevolent Creation. It was released in 1993 on Roadrunner Records. Larry Hawke from the band HatePlow originally did drums on the album but Phil wanted the drum tracks re-done, Alex Marquez ended up playing on the album instead due to Larry getting a DUI and ending up in jail for it. Roadrunner also wanted Brett to re-do his vocals but the band couldn't get him to and Roadrunner ended up dropping the band from their label, they ended up getting licensing deals for the subsequent labels they dealt with and to this day they still own rights to all their post-Roadrunner albums.

The first 2 songs on the album were originally written for the band "HatePlow" which mostly consisted of members of Malevolent Creation. There were plans for live recordings to be on the album after the first three songs but Phil Fasciana didn't like the live tapes he had at the time.
