Bluescreen Project: The Vertical Collection (Sketches) is a studio album by Jon Hassell. [1] It was released in France on Earshot Records on November, 1997, as a limited edition of 1000 compact discs. [2]

Jon Hassell American trumpeter

Jon Hassell is an American trumpet player and composer active since the 1960s. He is best known for developing the concept of "Fourth World" music, which describes a "unified primitive/futurist sound" combining elements of various world ethnic traditions with modern electronic techniques. The concept was first articulated on Fourth World, Vol. 1: Possible Musics, his 1980 collaboration with Brian Eno. He has also worked with artists such as the Theatre of Eternal Music, Talking Heads, Farafina, Peter Gabriel, Tears for Fears, Ani DiFranco, Techno Animal, Ry Cooder, Moritz von Oswald, and Carl Craig.

Trevor Dunn

Trevor Roy Dunn is an American composer, bass guitarist, and double bassist. He came to prominence in the 1990s with the experimental band Mr. Bungle. While performing with Mr. Bungle, Dunn would dress similar to the St. Pauli Girl. He has since worked in an array of musical styles, including with saxophonist/composer John Zorn, Secret Chiefs 3 and with his own avant-garde jazz/rock ensemble Trevor Dunn's Trio-Convulsant. He is also a member of the band Tomahawk.

Peter Freeman (musician)

Peter Freeman is an American bassist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, record producer and mixing engineer. Based in his studio in Los Angeles, he works on records, live performance, and film and television soundtracks. He is primarily known for his association with avant-garde composer and trumpet-player Jon Hassell. He was also a regular contributor to Electronic Musician during the 80s and 90s.
