Theo Roberts (born 10 September 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Bury AFC and Bootle on dual registration terms.

Club career

Roberts joined Wigan Athletic in 2015, and made his first-team debut during their EFL Trophy tie against Accrington Stanley in November 2017. [1]

Whilst at Wigan he went out on loan to Atherton Collieries and AFC Fylde. [2] At the end of the season he was released by Wigan. [3]

In July 2018 he signed for Chester. [4] In August 2018 he joined Buxton on loan for the season. [5] At the end of the season Chester triggered an extension clause in his contract, meaning he would remain with the club until the summer of 2020. [6] In August 2019 he returned to former loan club, Atherton Collieries, again on loan. [7] In October 2019 he joined Mossley on loan [8] which was later extended until the end of the season. [9]

In October 2020 he joined City of Liverpool. [10]

In October 2021 he joined Bury AFC before in December 2021 signing with Bootle on dual registration terms. [11]
