The Eastern Michigan Eagles, formerly known as the Normalites and the Hurons, are the athletic teams for Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan, United States. Central Michigan's first baseball team was fielded in 1896. The team plays its home games at Theunissen Stadium in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. On June 27, 2023, CMU alum Jake Sabol was named the Chippewas' head coach. On May 1, 2021, Jordan Patty pitched the first perfect game in CMU history.

In 2014 after a complete renovation, the larger stadium was dedicated "Itchy Jones Stadium" after head coach Itch Jones.
J. L. Johnson Stadium is a baseball venue in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. It is home to the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles baseball team of the NCAA Division I The Summit League. Dedicated on June 17, 1977, the stadium was opened on March 6, 1978, for a game against Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Oral Roberts won the game 7–6. The venue's seated capacity is 2,418 spectators.
The Mid-American Conference baseball tournament is the conference baseball championship of the Mid-American Conference, Division I members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Since 2024, the top six finishers participate in the double-elimination tournament, which is played at the home field of the top seed. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship. The tournament began in 1981, but was not held from 1984 through 1991. It returned in 1992 and was held annually through 2019. It was scheduled to be played in May 2020, but was cancelled in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. As part of several changes announced in May 2020 related to the pandemic, the tournament was eliminated along with the post-season tournaments of seven other sports, for at least four seasons. The tournament, however, returned in May 2022 after the conference announced in May 2021 that the baseball tournament, along with all other conference tournaments that had been eliminated, would be restored for the 2021–22 athletic season. Kent State has won the most tournament titles with 12, followed by Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan with four each.

In their first season under head coach Brian Kelly, the Chippewas compiled a 4–7 record, finished in fifth place in the MAC's West Division, and were outscored by their opponents, 378 to 260. The team played its home games in Kelly/Shorts Stadium in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, with attendance of 75,216 in five home games.
The 1975 Central Michigan Chippewas football team represented Central Michigan University in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) during the 1975 NCAA Division I football season. In their ninth season under head coach Roy Kramer, the Chippewas compiled an 8–2–1 record, finished in second place in the MAC standings, held eight of eleven opponents to fewer than 10 points, and outscored all opponents, 309 to 102. The team played its home games in Perry Shorts Stadium in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, with attendance of 105,600 in six home games.
