Thomas Baroukh (born 15 December 1987) is a French rower. He competed in the Men's lightweight coxless four event at the 2012 Summer Olympics, finishing in 7th. [1] [2] At the 2016 Olympics, he was part of the French lightweight coxless four that won the bronze medal. [3] The same team, consisting of Baroukh, Franck Solforosi, Guillaume Raineau and Thibault Colard, also won the bronze medal at the 2015 World Rowing Championships and bronze at the 2015 European Rowing Championships. [4] [5] Baroukh's previous team, which included Solforosi, Raineau and Augustin Mouterde won the bronze at the 2013 and 2014 European Championships. [6] [7] Baroukh and Mouterde won the silver medal in the men's lightweight pair at the 2014 World Rowing Championships. [8]

Simon Burgess is an Australian national champion, two-time World Champion, three-time Olympian and dual Olympic silver medal-winning lightweight rower. He represented Australia ten times at World Rowing Championships between 1990 and 2002. He won world and national championships in both sculls and in sweep-oared boat classes during an eighteen-year elite level career.

The Gold Four is the nickname for a Danish men's lightweight coxless four crew who between 1994 and 2016 has won three Olympic gold, one silver and two bronze, and eight gold and three silver medals at the world championships, making them one of the most successful crews in rowing history. There were 17 team members in total. The boat class was disestablished after the 2017 World Rowing Championships to achieve gender equality in rowing, with the Danish team last competing at the 2016 Olympics.

Andrea Re is an Italian lightweight rower. With eight gold medals at World Rowing Championships, he is one of the most successful rowers ever. He represented Italy at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, USA.
