Loveland is situated 46 miles (74 km) north of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. Loveland is the 14th most populous city in Colorado. The Town of Berthoud is a Statutory Town in Larimer and Weld counties in the U.S. state of Colorado. The town population was 5,105 at the 2010 United States Census. Berthoud is situated north of the Little Thompson River, approximately halfway between the cities of Fort Collins, Colorado and Denver, Colorado along the Front Range Urban Corridor.

Berthoud High School is a secondary school in Berthoud, Colorado, United States. In 2014 the school was ranked 30th in the state, 1,271st in the nation, and had an AP participation rate of 42%, according to U.S. News & World Report. For the 2014-2015 school year the student body makeup was 52% male and 48% female, and the total minority enrollment was 33 percent. Berthoud High School is 1 of 5 high schools in the Thompson School District R-2J and has the highest 4-year graduation rate in the district, with 91%.

Ferguson High School was originally known as the Washington Alternative High School from 1972 to 1981. In 1982, FHS was moved to its second location at 804 East Eisenhower; it was there until January 2009 when it was moved into its current location at 1101 Hilltop Drive . This makes FHS one of the oldest alternative, at-risk programs in the state of Colorado. It normally serves 120 - 140 students.

Loveland High School is a public high school located in Loveland, Colorado, United States. It is one of the five high schools in the Thompson R2-J School District.
