Those Things is the second album by songwriter and music producer Miguel Migs, released in 2007. The album has gained critical praise as well as commercial success.[ citation needed ]Those Things peaked at number 15 on the US Top Electronic Albums chart. [1] It is an album that ranges from deep house to hip house, with each being solid productions overall. Those Things features vocal performances by Migs's main vocalist on his songs, Lisa Shaw, Aya, Tim Fuller, and reggae artist Junior Reid. [2] [3] [4] The album features more live instrumentation than Migs' début album and includes a guest appearance by Fred Ross of Sly and the Family Stone. [5] [6] The lead single, "So Far", peaked at number six on the Hot Dance Club Play chart. [7]

Critical reception

Allmusic's Rick Anderson described the album as "a perfectly functional dance collection that achieves occasional greatness". [2] Dave Hoffman of PopMatters described it as the "first great electronica album of 2007, showcasing an adventurous, world-class producer at the top of his game". [4]

Dance Love Pop is the third studio album by Swedish singer Agnes, released originally on 29 October 2008 in Sweden. This was Agnes' first studio album since 2006 and her comeback to the music stage. The album is written and produced by Swedish songwriter Anders Hansson and geared towards the dance and club genre. When released the first single "On and On" it immediately showed a clear change of artistic direction for her music. This was clearly observed by the critics who all homaged her new musical style. In Sweden, a deluxe edition of the album titled Dance Love Pop: The Love Love Love Edition was released, featuring the original 10 tracks plus new song "Love Love Love", of which Agnes competed with in the Swedish drafts for Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow. Justin Osuji, best known by his current alias Sonny J Mason, is a Grammy Nominated Scottish singer, songwriter, and producer whose style combines "hints of R&B, soul, funk and disco." Mason was signed as a singer-songwriter to Virgin Records at age 14, and his first four singles, released under the name Justin, all reached Top 40 positions in the UK Singles Chart in the late 1990s. His debut album Finally was released in 2000 on Innocent Records, and that year he was awarded The Young Scottish Achievers Award from Queen Elizabeth II.

"Halfway Gone" is a song by American band Lifehouse. It is the first single released from their fifth studio album, Smoke & Mirrors (2010). It was first released via digital download in the United States and Canada on October 26, 2009. It was then solicited to mainstream radio on January 12, 2010. Several remixes of the song were later released on iTunes on April 6, 2010 in an album called Halfway Gone Remixes. The song was a commercial success, charting in Canada, the United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and New Zealand. The accompanying music video portrays Lifehouse lead singer Jason Wade singing most of the lyrics in a park, and also features band cohorts and various people lip-syncing the lyrics as the song plays.

Their influence is drawn from various genres including pop, indie, dance and world music. Rated R: Remixed is the second remix album by Barbadian singer Rihanna. It was released on May 8, 2010, in Brazil and Europe and on May 24, 2010, in the United States by Def Jam Recordings. It contains remixes from her fourth studio album, Rated R (2009). The songs were solely remixed by Chew Fu. The majority of the remixes were remastered to incorporate influences from the genre of house music, and incorporate heavy usage of synthesizers as part of their instrumentation.

Sentimientos (song) 2007 single by Ivy Queen

"Sentimientos" (English: Feelings) is a song by Puerto Rican reggaetón recording artist Ivy Queen, from her sixth studio album, Sentimiento (2007). It was composed by Queen, produced by Rafi Mercenario and released as the third single from the album in April 2007. The song is a mixture of reggaetón and bachata known as bachaton or bachateo. Lyrically, it describes how doing things that are nice or romantic "are more important than material things." The song garnered mainly positive reviews from critics, Scott Mahia of About.com gave it a 4 out of 5 stars and praised the dance mixes. The song managed to on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Songs and Billboard Dance Club Play Songs chart at number 22 and 44 respectively. Ivy Queen also performed the song as a part of the set of her 2008 World Tour which was held from the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum known as the Coliseum of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A remix version with Jowell & Randy was planned but never fulfilled.

"Pobre Corazón" (English: Poor Heart) is a song recorded by Divino for Ivy Queen's sixth studio album, Sentimiento (2007). It was composed by Divino along with Queen and produced by Marcos Sánchez. A remix version with Queen was also recorded and included on the platinum edition of the album. Separate salsa and bachata versions were also later recorded. Ivy Queen and Divino performed the remix of the song as a part of the setlist of her 2008 World Tour which was held from the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum known as the Coliseum of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Charting on five Billboard charts, the song reached #24 on the Latin Pop Airplay chart.
