Three is the third and final studio album by American country music group Gloriana. It was released on June 2, 2015 via Emblem Music Group/Warner Bros. Records. [1] [2] The album was produced by Matt Serletic. [3] [4] It includes the top 25 single "Trouble". [5] This was Gloriana's final album before Rachel Reinert's departure from the band and before splitting with their label, Warner Bros. Nashville.
Country music, also known as country and western, and hillbilly music, is a genre of popular music that originated in the southern United States in the early 1920s. It takes its roots from genres such as American folk music and blues.
Gloriana was an American country music group founded in 2008 by Cheyenne Kimball, Rachel Reinert (vocals), and brothers Tom Gossin and Mike Gossin. Prior to the group's foundation, Kimball recorded as a solo artist. The original lineup recorded one self-titled album for Emblem/Reprise Records in 2009, which included their first chart hit, "Wild at Heart". Kimball left before the release of the band's second album A Thousand Miles Left Behind, which produced their highest-charting single, "(Kissed You) Good Night", along with the top 20 "Can't Shake You". After a third album, Three, Reinert left as well, effectively disbanding the group.
Matt Serletic is an American record producer and music executive. As a teenager, Serletic joined a band with members of Collective Soul, a group for which he would later produce. Serletic has worked with several other popular bands and artists for Atlantic Records, including Matchbox Twenty, Cher, Blessid Union of Souls, Edwin McCain, Stacie Orrico, Taylor Hicks, Rob Thomas, and singer/songwriter Angie Aparo. Serletic worked with American Idol winner David Cook on his second studio album. He also preceded Jason Flom as chairman of Virgin Records, a position he held from 2002-2005. He also worked with Joe Cocker, writing and producing his album, Hard Knocks.
