Through Glass Coloured Roses is a compilation album by the Green Pajamas. It was released by Hidden Agenda Records, part of the independent label Parasol Records, in 2003.
Siouxsie and the Banshees were a British rock band formed in London in 1976 by vocalist Siouxsie Sioux and bass guitarist Steven Severin. They have been widely influential, both over their contemporaries and with later acts. The Times called the group "one of the most audacious and uncompromising musical adventurers of the post-punk era".
Stained glass is coloured glass as a material or works created from it. A Patch of Blue is a 1965 American drama film directed by Guy Green about the friendship between an educated black man and an illiterate, blind, white 18-year-old girl, and the problems that plague their friendship in a racially divided America. Made in 1965 against the backdrop of the growing civil rights movement, the film explores racism while playing on the idea that "love is blind."
The most famous Furry Dance takes place in Helston, Cornwall, United Kingdom. It is one of the oldest British customs still practised today. The earliest mention seems to be in a letter to the Gentleman's Magazine for 1790 where the writer says "At Helstone, a genteel and populus borough town in Cornwall, it is customary to dedicate the 8th May to revelry. It is called Furry Day". The dance is very well attended every year and people travel from all over the world to see it: Helston Town Band play all the music for the dances.
Green Tea is a 2002 Chinese film. It was adapted from the novel Adiliya by the River by Jin Renshun. Shot in the summer of 2002, Green Tea was one of three films directed by Zhang Yuan that year. The film was photographed by established Hong Kong-cinematographer Christopher Doyle, whose work gives Green Tea a more polished look than many of Zhang's earlier independent features.
Blackout is the fourth studio album by Dropkick Murphys, released in 2003. A music video for "Walk Away", the album's first official single, was also released. The song went on to become a minor radio hit and received some minor airplay on MTV. "Fields of Athenry" was also released as a single. The album was released with a DVD, which contained live videos for "Rocky Road to Dublin" and "Boys on the Docks", a music video for "Gonna Be a Blackout Tonight", and a trailer for their then upcoming untitled full-length DVD, which became On the Road With the Dropkick Murphys and was released the following year in March 2004.
