Tiger Kirchharz (real name Diana Kirchharz, born January 7, 1985 in Munich, Germany) is a dancer, choreographer and actress.



Tiger started dancing at the age of four years. Her father "baptized" the third of his daughters Tiger after she fell in love with cartoonist Janosch´s Tigerente - and only responded when she has been called Tiger. [1] In addition to ballet classes, she started at the age of 6 years with Hip-hop and Latin dances. In 1999, she began to teach and established two years later her own Dance Company. After her graduation she studied dance at Jessica Iwanson at the Academy for contemporary dance and expanded her ballet, modern, and jazz skills at the Iwanson school. 2009 Tiger built a show called MTV in order to participate at European and World Championships. Tiger is also active as a choreographer (Winter potato dumplings, 1½ Knights - In search of the ravishing Herzelinde), judge at dance competitions (IDO, TAF, Danish Championship 2013), film actress and model. She is the only European show dancer who starred in Hollywood films like Step Up Revolution (2012) and Step Up: All In (2014). [4] [5]

MTV Europe Music Award annual European awards

An MTV Europe Music Award is an award presented by Viacom International Media Networks to honour artists and music in pop culture. It was originally conceived as an alternative to the MTV Video Music Awards, which are hosted annually in the United States. The Europe Music Awards are held every year in a different country; it has been hosted mostly in the United Kingdom. Yo! MTV Raps is a two-hour television music video program, which first aired on MTV Europe from 1987 to mid-90s and on MTV US from August 1988 to August 1995. The program was the first hip hop music show on the network, based on the original MTV Europe show, aired one year earlier. Yo! MTV Raps produced a mix of rap videos, interviews with rap stars, live in studio performances and comedy. The show also yielded a Brazilian version called Yo! MTV and broadcast by MTV Brasil from 1990 to 2005.

Hip-hop dance street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music

Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking which was created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States. The television show Soul Train and the 1980s films Breakin', Beat Street, and Wild Style showcased these crews and dance styles in their early stages; therefore, giving hip-hop mainstream exposure. The dance industry responded with a commercial, studio-based version of hip-hop—sometimes called "new style"—and a hip-hop influenced style of jazz dance called "jazz-funk". Classically trained dancers developed these studio styles in order to create choreography from the hip-hop dances that were performed on the street. Because of this development, hip-hop dance is practiced in both dance studios and outdoor spaces.

Breakdancing Style of street dance

Breaking, also called breakdancing or b-boying/b-girling, is an athletic style of street dance from the United States. While diverse in the amount of variation available in the dance, breakdancing mainly consists of four kinds of movement: toprock, downrock, power moves and freezes. Breakdancing is typically set to songs containing drum breaks, especially in hip-hop, funk, soul music and breakbeat music, although modern trends allow for much wider varieties of music along certain ranges of tempo and beat patterns.

Mandy Wötzel is a German former pair skater who represented East Germany and later Germany in international competition. With partner Ingo Steuer, she is the 1998 Olympic bronze medalist, the 1997 World champion, the 1995 European champion, and a four-time German national champion.

Stereo Mike singer

Mihalis Exarchos, known professionally by his stage name Stereo Mike, is a Greek hip hop artist. He is the first MTV EMA Award winner in the "Best Greek Act" category. Stereo Mike represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 alongside singer Loucas Yiorkas with the song "Watch My Dance", placing seventh with 120 points.

Quest Crew is an American hip-hop dance crew from Los Angeles, California who were declared winners of the third season of America's Best Dance Crew. They made their first few appearances individually on shows like So You Think You Can Dance and at events such as Kollaboration 8 and World of Dance. They helped with the choreography for well-known artist LMFAO and have previously toured with them as well. On August 29, 2015, Quest Crew was declared all-star champions of Season 8 of America's Best Dance Crew (ABDC) receiving $100,000 and the ABDC trophy again. This is the crew's second time being declared champion of MTV's hit show.

Salah Benlemqawanssa, also known as Salah the Entertainer and Spider Salah, is a competitive hip-hop dancer from France who won the inaugural season of La France a un incroyable talent, the fourth season of Arabs Got Talent and the fourth season of Tú Sí Que Vales (Italy). He was born in the Paris suburb Saint-Denis and is of Moroccan (Father) and Algerian (Mother) ancestry. He calls his personal dance style P.A.B.E. which stands for Popping, Animation, Boogaloo, and Effects. Although Salah is best known for popping, he is also skilled in b-boying.

KRS-One American musician

Lawrence "Kris" Parker, better known by his stage names KRS-One, and Teacha, is an American rapper and occasional producer from Bronx, New York. He rose to prominence as part of the hip hop music group Boogie Down Productions, which he formed with DJ Scott La Rock in the mid-1980s. KRS-One is best known for his top hits, "Sound of da Police", "Love's Gonna Get'cha ", and "My Philosophy", among others. Boogie Down Productions received numerous awards and critical acclaim in their early years. Unfortunately, following the release of the group's debut album, Criminal Minded, fellow artist Scott La Rock was shot and killed, but KRS-One continued the group, effectively as a solo project. He began releasing records under his own name in 1993. He is politically active, having started the Stop the Violence Movement after Scott's death. He's also a vegan activist, expressed in songs such as "Beef". He is widely considered as an influence to many well known hip hop artists, such as 2Pac and Eminem to name just a few.

Twist and Pulse duo

Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy, better known by their stage name (s) Twist and Pulse, are an English street dance duo based in London. They were the runners-up of the fourth series of Britain's Got Talent in 2010, coming second to Spelbound in the live final, but later won the spinoff show Britain's Got Talent: The Champions in 2019, becoming the Champion of Champions.

International Dance Organization organization

The International Dance Organization (IDO) is an official, independent, politically neutral, non-profit, world dance and dance sport federation, registered in Slagelse, Denmark, for Performing Arts, Street and Couple Dances. Members of the IDO are national dance federations; only non-profit organizations can join. The biggest IDO competitions, running for more than a week, are World Dance Olympiad in Moscow around 1 May and the Dance Week in Riesa with Tap Dance and Show Dance in the end of November.

Mauritian hip hop

Hip-Hop has been around in Mauritius since it has been on International media. Each generation has their own preference in terms of Rap Artists, but all artists who have been playing on the medias since TuPac have also been aired in Mauritius.

The Kings United India is a India hip-hop dance group from Vasai, a city in Maharashtra. They won World Hip Hop Dance Championship and NBC'S World of Dance. Suresh Mukund, is the choreographer and director of the group.

Quick Style, AKA Quick Crew is a hip-hop/urban dance crew formed in 2006. It was formed by the twin brothers Suleman Malik, Bilal Malik and their childhood friend Nasir Sirikhan. They had an interest in music and dance since childhood and started to take dance classes at X-Ray, a local youth club in Oslo.
