Tilda Del Toro (born July 11, 1985) is an American actor and producer best known for Night School, Fonzo, and Our Brand Is Crisis .
Night School is a 2018 American comedy film directed by Malcolm D. Lee and starring Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish, Rob Riggle, Romany Malco, Taran Killam, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Al Madrigal, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Keith David, Anne Winters, Fat Joe, Ben Schwartz, Yvonne Orji, and Bresha Webb. Hart also produces the film alongside Will Packer, as well as co-wrote the script. The story follows a group of adults who set out to earn their GEDs.
Fonzo is an upcoming biographical crime film written, directed and edited by Josh Trank, with Tom Hardy starring as the notorious gangster Al Capone.
Our Brand Is Crisis is a 2015 American comedy-drama film directed by David Gordon Green and written by Peter Straughan. Based on the 2005 documentary film of the same name by Rachel Boynton, it is a fictionalized account of the involvement of American political campaign strategists Greenberg Carville Shrum (GCS) in the 2002 Bolivian presidential election. The film stars Sandra Bullock, Scoot McNairy, Billy Bob Thornton, Anthony Mackie, Ann Dowd and Joaquim de Almeida.
Del Toro was born and raised in north Chicago to parents of Peruvian, Puerto Rican, and Spaniard descent. She began acting and modeling at a young age before later being cast in Steppenwolf Theatre Company's original production of House on Mango Street . She also performed in multiple shows directed by Del Close, including A Strange Short Trip, and co-created the first all-Latino improvisation troupe, Salsation.
