Tim Clarke (born 2 April 1982) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He currently works as a coach for Carlton Football Club.

Playing career

Hawthorn Football Club

He was educated at The Geelong College. Recruited from Geelong, Clarke played for Hawthorn Football Club from 2000 until 2008, with a total of 96 games and he kicked 39 goals. [1] Clarke won the 'Most improved' and 'Most determined' awards for Hawthorn in 2004 and 2005 respectively. He was delisted by Hawthorn at the end of the 2008 AFL season.

Coaching career

Richmond Football Club

Clarke became a development coach for the Richmond Football Club in 2010. At the end of 2011, he left the club to venture overseas for a year; he returned in 2013, and was also appointed senior coach of the club's VFL - affiliate Coburg. When Richmond ended its affiliation with Coburg entered its own reserves team in 2014, Clarke was appointed coach of the side. [2]

Carlton Football Club

From 2016 until 2018, he was midfield assistant coach at Carlton under senior coach Brendon Bolton. [3] [4]

Gold Coast Suns

From 2019 until 2021, he was a development coach and forwards assistant coach at Gold Coast Suns under senior coach Stuart Dew. [5] [6] [7]

Return to Carlton Football Club

In October 2021, he returned to Carlton to again take up the midfield assistant coaching position under senior coach Michael Voss for the 2022 season. [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15] [16]

Robert Walls is a former Australian rules footballer who represented Carlton and Fitzroy in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1960s and 1970s. In a playing career that spanned three decades Robert played a combined 259 games and kicked a total of 444 goals. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s he continued to coach in the VFL/AFL for a total of 347 games across four different clubs. As a coach, his greatest achievement came in 1987 when he coached Carlton to the 1987 VFL premiership, the same club he won premierships with as player in 1968, 1970 and 1972. After his coaching career ended, Walls became involved in the AFL media as a commentator and columnist. Walls was also a grade 4 teacher at Park Orchards Primary School at the time that he was a coach.

Brian Carlyle Cook is a Scottish-born Australian businessman and former Australian rules football player and coach who is the current chief executive officer (CEO) of the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Cook played for a number of different clubs in several Australian states and territories, including the Box Hill Football Club in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), the Melbourne Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and the East Perth and Subiaco Football Clubs in the Western Australian National Football League (WANFL), and later captain-coached the Ainslie Football Club in the Australian Capital Territory Football League (ACTFL). After his retirement from coaching, Cook occupied positions with the Australian Sports Commission and the West Australian Football Commission, before being appointed CEO of the West Coast Eagles in 1990. Bolton previously was the head coach of the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League, having served in the role from 2016 to 2019. Prior to serving in this role, he served as the head coach of Victorian Football League club Box Hill from November 2008 to October 2010, guiding the club to two consecutive finals series in his two seasons in charge.
