Tina Vukov (born 22 December 1988) is a Croatian singer.

Music career

At the age of fourteen Vukov signed a record deal with Croatia Records. In early 2004 she participated at Dora 2004, the selection show to decide Croatia's Eurovision Song Contest 2004 entry with the song "Tuga dolazi kasnije". [1] Placing eighth in the first semi-final she failed to advance to the final. Two years later, in 2006, Vukov participated at Dora 2006 with the song "Il treno per Genova". [2] She placed first in the first semi-final and later placed third in the final. Later that year Vukov's debut album Tuga dolazi kasnije was released. [3] Vukov participated at Dora for a third time in 2007 with the song "Tata". [4] In the same year she won her first Porin Award in the Best Female Vocal Performance category for "Il treno per Genova". [5]

On 17 December 2021, Vukov was announced as one of the acts to perform at Dora 2022 with the song "Hideout". [6]

She finished 12th in the second semi-final and failed to qualify for the grand final.

Croatia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 28 times since making its debut at the 1993 contest. Their entry has since 1993, excluding from 2012 to 2018, been selected at the Dora festival, an event organised by the national public broadcaster Hrvatska radiotelevizija (HRT). Croatia's best result in the contest is a fourth-place finish in 1996 and 1999.

Croatia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song "Moja štikla" written by Boris Novković, Franjo Valentić and Severina Vučković. The song was performed by Severina. Songwriter Boris Novković represented Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "Vukovi umiru sami" together with Lado members where they placed eleventh in the grand final of the competition. The Croatian broadcaster Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) organised the national final Dora 2006 to select the Croatian entry for the 2006 contest in Athens, Greece. Thirty-two entries competed in the national final which consisted of three shows: two semi-finals and a final. Eight entries qualified from each semi-final on 2 and 3 March 2006 to compete in the final on 4 March 2006. In the final, "Moja štikla" performed by Severina was selected as the winner following the combination of votes from a five-member jury panel and a public televote.

Antonija Šola is a Croatian musician, singer-songwriter, lyricist, actress and music producer. She is known for playing a main role of "Tina Bauer-Fijan" in first Croatian soap opera Zabranjena ljubav (2004-2008). In addition to her role in the series, she composed and wrote songs, and wrote the lyrics of the series' theme song. After a role in the series, she started her musician career, while also has worked on songs and album with numerous artists of Balkan Region.

The Croatian broadcaster Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) organised the national final Dora 2009 to select the Croatian entry for the 2009 contest in Moscow, Russia. A total of twenty-four entries competed in the national final which consisted of two shows: a semi-final and a final. In the semi-final on 27 February 2009, six entries qualified to compete in the final on 28 February 2009 alongside ten pre-qualified songs. In the final, "Lijepa Tena" performed by Igor Cukrov was selected as the winner following the combination of votes from a six-member jury panel and a public televote.

Croatia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Lako je sve" written by Branimir Mihaljević, Pamela Ramljak and Neda Parmać. The song was performed by the group Feminnem, which had previously represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 where they placed fourteenth with the song "Call Me". The Croatian broadcaster Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) organised the national final Dora 2010 to select the Croatian entry for the 2010 contest in Oslo, Norway. A total of twenty-four entries competed in the national final which consisted of two shows: a semi-final and a final. In the semi-final on 5 March 2010, eight entries qualified to compete in the final on 6 March 2010 alongside eight pre-qualified songs. In the final, "Lako je sve" performed by Feminnem was selected as the winner following the combination of votes from a nine-member jury panel and a public televote.

Albina Grčić, known professionally by the mononym Albina, is a Croatian singer. She began her career after participating in season three of The Voice Hrvatska where she finished third. She represented Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam with the song "Tick-Tock”.
