Tinashe Paradzayi Ruswa (born 17 February 1985) is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who played for Manicaland and Mashonaland during the early 2000s.
From Harare,Ruswa represented Zimbabwe at the 2000 Under-15s World Challenge,held in England,and was also a part of several other underage representative sides. [1] An off-spinner,he played a single One Day International (ODI) for the Zimbabwean national under-19 side at the 2004 Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh. [2] He conceded 29 runs from two overs against New Zealand in a match that Zimbabwe won easily,on its way to sixth place at the tournament (As of 2015 [update] ,its best finish). [3] Ruswa had earlier made his first-class debut for Manicaland at the age of 17,playing twice in the 2002–03 season of the Logan Cup. [4]
In domestic competition,Ruswa switched to Mashonaland for the 2003–04 season. He went on to play six matches in the limited overs Faithwear Clothing Inter-Provincial competition, [5] but only took. Ruswa had slightly more success in the Logan Cup,where he also played six matches. Against Matabeleland,he took 3/56,his best first-class bowling figures,and then scored 40 not out,his highest first-class score,from tenth in the batting order. [6] Mashonaland's next match against Midlands,Ruswa's final at first-class level,was notable for the performance of Tatenda Taibu,the side's captain. He scored 175 not out in his team's second innings and then,helping Mashonaland to a 329-run victory,took 8/43 in Midland's second innings,despite having kept wicket in the first. [7] After the conclusion of his playing career in Zimbabwe,Ruswa studied information systems at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa,also playing club cricket there. He later attended the University of Durham in England on a scholarship,receiving his master's degree in 2011. [8]

Craig Richard Ervine is a Zimbabwean international cricketer who captains Zimbabwe in limited overs matches. Ervine is a left-handed batter. He was born in Harare and has played Test and limited overs cricket for the Zimbabwe national cricket team and first-class cricket for a variety of Zimbabwean sides in the Logan Cup. He holds an Irish passport. In January 2022,in the opening fixture of the series against Sri Lanka,Ervine played in his 100th One Day International (ODI) match.

The Pro50 Championship,formerly known as the Faithwear Metbank One-Day Competition,Metbank Pro40 Championship,Faithwear Inter-Provincial Tournament,and Coca-Cola Metbank Pro50 Championship is the premier List A cricket tournament in Zimbabwe,organized by Zimbabwe Cricket. This tournament was started after the Zimbabwean cricket crisis,recommended by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It is jointly sponsored by Metbank and Coca-Cola.

Kudzai James Taibu is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who represented Mashonaland and Manicaland in Zimbabwean domestic cricket. He played as a right-handed top-order batsman and occasional wicket-keeper.
The 2017–18 Logan Cup was the 24th edition of the Logan Cup,a first-class cricket competition that took place in Zimbabwe. It started on 4 October 2017 and included a new team,the Rising Stars,along with the existing four teams. Mountaineers were the defending champions.
The 2018–19 Logan Cup was the 25th edition of the Logan Cup,a first-class cricket competition in Zimbabwe,that started on 3 December 2018. The tournament featured four teams,instead of the five that took part in the previous edition,with the Rising Stars being disbanded. The other change to the 2018–19 tournament was that it was being played across six rounds,instead of ten,as per previous years. Mountaineers were the defending champions.
