Tinkerbelle (sometimes referred to as Tinkerbelle the dog) is a canine model and internet celebrity. She was listed as one of the Most Entrepreneurial Dogs in America by Entrepreneur [2] and is considered a social media influencer with more than 400,000 followers on Instagram. [3]

Tinkerbelle was rescued from a shelter by Sam Carrell in 2012. [4] Carrell was at the shelter visiting a friend, but was told Tinkerbelle would not socialize, eat, or come to anyone. [5] Carrell adopted her and took her everywhere she went in order to socialize her, eventually meeting an agent while on a walk in New York City. [4]

Tinkerbelle debuted as a dog model in a Ralph Lauren collection. She has since modeled for brands that include American Eagle, Burt's Bees, and Converse. [2] Additional appearances include playing Chowsie, Rose's dog, in a production of Gypsy , [6] and in promos for the movie A Dog's Purpose . [7] She is also a regular at New York Fashion Week. [8] She and her owner Sam Carrell have appeared with many other celebrities such as Latto, Camila Cabello, 5 Seconds of Summer, Ryan Seacrest, and many more. In addition, her social media accounts include all of her luxurious travels across the United States. She has continued to increase her following by appearing at red carpet events such as Wango Tango, and being seen on talk shows like Access Daily .

The Sato Project is an animal rescue and protection organization founded in 2011 by British-born Christina Beckles. It works to rescue abused and abandoned dogs in Puerto Rico, educating the public and advocating for abused and abandoned dogs. "Sato" is the Spanish word used in Puerto Rico and Cuba for referring to stray dogs or cats. Many of the project's missions have involved airlifting dogs before and after natural disasters, including Hurricane Maria in 2017 and the earthquakes that struck Puerto Rico in 2019 and 2020. "Spayathon" is a spaying and neutering program, attended by Sato Project and other animal rights organizations in Puerto Rico, which has had an impact on the stray dog population.

Anthony Rubio is an American fashion designer, best known for creating costumes for dogs. His designs have been exhibited at events like New York and Los Angeles Fashion Weeks, and have appeared in magazines like Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar and Elle.
