Ardfinnan GAA is a Tipperary GAA club which is located in County Tipperary, Ireland. The club, which competes at county level and in the "South" division of Tipperary GAA, is known by its supporters as "the village". The team's home ground is on the main Ardfinnan to Clonmel road just outside the village. The club draws its players and support from the village of Ardfinnan and the neighbouring parishes of Grange and Ballybacon.

The draw for the 2015 fixtures took place on 9 October 2014 live on RTÉ2. The championship began on 3 May 2015 and ended on 6 September 2015.
The 2019 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 132nd staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county hurling tournament, since its establishment in 1887. The draw for the 2019 fixtures took place on 11 October 2018. The championship began on 11 May 2019 and concluded on 18 August 2019.
The 2020 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship is the 133rd staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county hurling tournament, since its establishment in 1887. The 2020 fixtures were announced in October 2019. Games were initially scheduled to begin on 9 May 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Ireland the competition was delayed until 24 October 2020. The All-Ireland final is scheduled for the 13 December.
The 2020 season will be Liam Sheedy's second year in charge since returning as manager of the Tipperary senior hurling team, having been previously in charge from 2008 to 2010.
