Tmesisternus virens is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Gressitt in 1984. [1]

Described in some detail by Elwes & Henry (1913) as a form of Field Elm but classified as U. × hollandica by Green, the tree is not mentioned in Bean's classic works on British trees.
