Todd Ellis (born May 16, 1967) is a former American football quarterback. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the ninth round of the 1990 NFL Draft, [2] but never appeared in an NFL game. He played one season for the Sacramento Surge of the World League of American Football. Ellis played college football at South Carolina. He has since returned to the Columbia area, where he maintains a law practice. [3] Ellis is best known for serving as the play-by-play man for radio broadcasts of USC football games, from which he has gained the nickname “The Voice of the Gamecocks”. He also hosts both "The Shane Beamer Show" and "Carolina Calls With Shane Beamer", on TV and radio respectively. [4]

Gregory Lemont Ellis is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) in Waxahachie, Texas, a position he has held since 2022. Ellis played professionally as a defensive end for 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels, and was recognized as an All-American. He was selected in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys and played for the Cowboys for 11 seasons, form 1998 to 2008. He also played a season, in 2009, for the Oakland Raiders. Ellis was the head football coach at Texas College in Tyler, Texas from 2020 to 2021.
