Todd Gilles (born April 14, 1986) is an American former ice dancer. With Trina Pratt, he won four ISU Junior Grand Prix medals and the 2005 U.S. national junior title, and placed sixth at the 2006 World Junior Championships. With Jane Summersett, he is the 2008 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist. He also skated with Emily Samuelson for one season.
Todd Gilles was born in Rockford, Illinois. He has three younger sisters: Piper, who competes for Canada in ice dancing; Alexe, a single skater; and Shelby Gilles, who is not in the ice dancing scene. He also has a younger brother, Kemper Gilles. All five of the Gilles children attended Cheyenne Mountain High School. [1] He enjoys mountaineering. [2]
Gilles teamed up with Trina Pratt at the 2002 Lake Placid, New York, dance competition. [3] They won the 2003 US National Novice title, as well as, the 2005 US National Junior title. After a promising start on the senior international circuit, they announced the ending of their partnership on December 13, 2006, with Pratt deciding to take a break from competitive skating. [4]
Gilles teamed up with Jane Summersett in April 2007. [5] Their best result was a bronze medal at the 2008 Nebelhorn Trophy. After Summersett retired from competitive skating in 2010, he worked as a skating coach in Lake Placid. [6]
On August 22, 2011, Gilles and Emily Samuelson announced their newly formed partnership. [6] In September, they revealed they would train in Ann Arbor, Michigan, coached by Nechaeva and Chesnichenko with choreography by Tom Dickson and Christopher Dean. [7] [8] In November 2011, they competed in their first event together, the 2011 Cup of China, where they finished 8th. At the time, they had been skating together for approximately two months, and had had their programs choreographed one month earlier. [9] Samuelson and Gilles confirmed the end of their partnership in June 2012. [10]

Morgan Matthews is an American former competitive ice dancer. With Maxim Zavozin, she is the 2006 Four Continents silver medalist and 2005 World Junior champion.
Craig Buntin is a Canadian former pair skater. He is the co-founder and CEO of Sportlogiq, an AI-powered sports analytics company based in Montreal, Quebec. With former partner Meagan Duhamel, he is the 2009 Canadian silver medallist, the 2008 & 2010 Canadian bronze medallist, and the 2010 Four Continents bronze medallist. With Valérie Marcoux, he represented Canada at the 2006 Winter Olympics, where they placed 11th.
Fedor Vladimirovich Andreev is a former figure skater with dual Russian and Canadian citizenship. In single skating, he is the 2003 Canadian bronze medalist and the 1999 junior national champion. In 2010, he switched to ice dancing and competed for Russia with partner Jana Khokhlova for one season.
Stephen Carriere is an American former competitive figure skater. He is the 2007 World Junior champion, 2006 JGP Final champion, and 2008 U.S. national bronze medalist. During his career, he has won two Grand Prix medals, one Challenger Series medal, and four other senior international medals.
Emily Samuelson is an American former competitive ice dancer. With former partner Evan Bates, she is the 2009 Four Continents bronze medalist, the 2008 World Junior champion, and the 2009 U.S. national silver medalist. The duo competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Samuelson later skated with Todd Gilles.
Evan Bates is an American ice dancer. With his wife and skating partner, Madison Chock, he is the 2022 Olympic gold medalist in the team event, the 2023 and 2024 World champion, two times Grand Prix Final champion, a three-time Four Continents champion, a twenty-time ISU Grand Prix medalist, ten-time ISU Challenger Series medalist, and a five-time U.S. national champion. The two represented the United States at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics.
Trina Pratt is an American former competitive ice dancer. With Todd Gilles, she won four ISU Junior Grand Prix medals and the 2005 U.S. national junior title, and placed sixth at the 2006 World Junior Championships.
Keiffer J. Hubbell is an American ice dancer. He competed with his sister Madison Hubbell from 2001 to 2011. They are the 2010 Four Continents bronze medalists, two-time U.S. pewter medalists, and 2006 Junior Grand Prix Final champions.
Daniil Sergeevich Barantsev is a Russian-American former competitive ice dancer. With partner and wife Jennifer Wester, he is the 2007 Nebelhorn Trophy champion. He is a two-time World Junior champion with earlier partner Natalia Romaniuta.

During this season, elite skaters competed on the ISU Championship level at the 2012 European, Four Continents, World Junior, and World Championships. They also competed in elite events such as the Grand Prix series and Junior Grand Prix series, culminating in the Grand Prix Final.
