Todd Haskins (born August 30, 1972) is a retired American soccer defender who played most of his career in beach soccer. He was a member of the U.S. U-16 national team at the 1989 FIFA U-16 World Championship and the U.S. Beach Soccer Team at the 2005 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

Club career

Haskins was an outstanding player for Howard High School in Ellicott City, Maryland. He was the 1990 Gatorade Player of the Year and a Parade Magazine High School All American. In 1989, he was a member of the U.S. U-16 national team at the 1989 FIFA U-16 World Championship. The U.S. went 1-1-1, with Haskin scoring a goal in the 2–2 tie with Australia. In 1990, he entered the University of North Carolina where he played three years on the men's soccer team, 1990–1991 and again in 1993. [1] During the summer of 1993, Haskins played the collegiate off-season with the Raleigh Flyers of the USISL. [2] After completing his senior year at UNC, Haskings signed a professional contract with the Flyers for the 1995 season. [3] In 1995, Haskins played for the Washington Warthogs of the Continental Indoor Soccer League. [4] On February 7, 1996, the Columbus Crew selected Haskins in the 15th round (141st overall) in the 1996 MLS Inaugural Player Draft, but the Crew did not offer him a contract. He then played beach soccer, had an unsuccessful trial with AZ Alkmaar and on May 28, 1998, signed with the Baton Rouge Bombers of the Eastern Indoor Soccer League. [5] In June, he suffered a season ending cheek injury. In December 1998, he was the first player signed by the expansion Maryland Mania of the A-League. [6] [7] The Mania played one season then folded. In July 1999 Haskins briefly went on loan to D.C. United when the team had several players injured. He did not play any games before returning to the Mania. [8] In 2005, Haskins was a member of the U.S. Beach Soccer Team at the 2005 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

Coaching career

Haskins currently coaches the U16 Bethesda Arsenal club team in Bethesda Maryland. He also coaches a Maryland state Olympic Development Program team, (ODP). He is also the assistant coach of the St. Johns College High School Team, along with head coach Philip Gyau.

Bruce Edward Murray is an American former professional soccer player who at the time of his retirement was the all-time leading scorer for the United States men's national soccer team. His standout college career led to his selection by Soccer America Magazine to its College Team of the Century. He then played professionally in both Europe and the United States, including the American Soccer League and American Professional Soccer League. Concussion syndrome forced him to retire in 1995, Murray had earned 86 caps, scoring 21 goals, including one at the 1990 FIFA World Cup. He was also a member of the U.S. national futsal team which placed third at the 1989 FIFA Futsal World Championship. Murray is the Direct of Coaching at Accelerator School DC Metro. He is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.

Eric Eichmann is an American former soccer player. He played professionally in Germany and the United States and later served as an assistant coach with the Miami Fusion of Major League Soccer. He also earned 29 caps and scored four goals, for the United States national soccer team.

Darryl Gee is a retired American soccer player who played professionally in the North American Soccer League and Major Indoor Soccer League. He coaches youth soccer in Maryland.

Rob Ryerson is a retired U.S. soccer forward who played professionally, both indoor and outdoor soccer, for at least seven years. He last coached the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers men's soccer program before it disbanded in 2012.

Hendrig "Henry" Gutierrez is an American former soccer player who began his career in the lower French divisions before finishing it in the United States. He was a member of the U.S. teams at the 1985 FIFA U-16 World Championship and the 1987 FIFA World Youth Championship. He earned one cap with the United States men's national soccer team.

Eddie Henderson is a retired U.S. soccer player and current Washington Director of Youth Coaching for the ISC Gunners program. Henderson spent two seasons in the Western Soccer League, one in the American Professional Soccer League, one season in Major Soccer League and seven in the National Professional Soccer League. He spent his outdoor career in the American Soccer League and the American Professional Soccer League, his indoor career with the Washington Warthogs and Baltimore Blast, and spent nine years with the U.S. National Beach Soccer team. He earned six caps with the U.S. national team. In 2014, he became the head coach for Howard University's soccer team. Gyau is also the father of U.S. international Joe Gyau.

Troy Snyder is a former U.S. soccer player who is second on the high school career scoring list with 208 goals and 117 assists. He spent most of his career playing indoor soccer, but also won an outdoor title in 1987 with the San Diego Nomads. Snyder earned five caps with the U.S. national team between 1985 and 1991 as well as another nine with the U.S. National Futsal Team. In 1983, he was a member of the U.S. team at the U-20 World Championship.

Edward Radwanski is an American former soccer midfielder. He spent the five seasons in the Major Indoor Soccer League, one in the Continental Indoor Soccer League and seven in the USISL and its predecessor, the SISL. He also earned five caps with the U.S. national team in 1985.

Irad Young is a retired Israeli-American professional football (soccer) player. Playing for George Mason University he set the school's career assist record. After college he played for Hapoel Haifa, the Washington Warthogs, and the Baton Rouge Bombers.

Joe Koziol is a retired American soccer player who played professionally in the American Professional Soccer League, Major Indoor Soccer League and the National Professional Soccer League. He also won three indoor USISL titles with the Baltimore Bays.
