Elroy Leon "Crazylegs" Hirsch was an American professional football player, sport executive and actor. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1967 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 1974. He was also named to the all-time All-Pro team selected in 1968 and to the National Football League (NFL) 1950s All-Decade Team.
Stephen Wood Van Buren was a Honduran–American professional football player who was a halfback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL) from 1944 to 1951. Regarded as a powerful and punishing runner with excellent speed, through eight NFL seasons he won four league rushing titles, including three straight from 1947 to 1949. At a time when teams played 12 games a year, he was the first NFL player to rush for over ten touchdowns in a season—a feat he accomplished three times—and the first to have multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons. When he retired, he held the NFL career records for rushing attempts, rushing yards, and rushing touchdowns.

John LeRoy Christiansen was an American professional football player who became a college and pro coach. He played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for the Detroit Lions as a defensive back and return specialist from 1951 to 1958. He helped lead the Lions to three NFL championships in 1952, 1953, and 1957 and was a first-team All-NFL player in six of his eight years in the league. He led the NFL in interceptions in 1953 and 1957 and in punt returns for touchdown in 1951, 1952, 1954, and 1956. His eight career punt returns for touchdowns was an NFL record until 1989 and remains the fourth best in league history. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1970.
Charles Louis Trippi is a former American football player. He played professionally for the Chicago Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL) from 1947 to 1955. Although primarily a running back, his versatility allowed him to fill a multitude of roles over his career, including quarterback, defensive back, punter, and return specialist. A "quintuple-threat", Trippi was adept at running, catching, passing, punting, and defense.
Darren Lee Sproles is an American football executive and former running back and return specialist who is currently a personnel consultant for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Kansas State, where he is the all-time leading rusher, and was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He also played for the New Orleans Saints and the Eagles.
Wesley Carter Welker is an American football coach and former wide receiver who is the wide receivers coach for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as an assistant coach for the San Francisco 49ers and the Houston Texans. He played college football for the Texas Tech Red Raiders and was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2004. Welker also played for the Dolphins, as well as the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, and St. Louis Rams.
Brian Keith Mitchell is a former American football running back and return specialist in the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Washington Redskins in the fifth round of the 1990 NFL Draft. He played college football at Louisiana, then known as Southwestern Louisiana University where he was a quarterback. Mitchell is considered one of the greatest return specialists in NFL history.
Derrick Scott Alexander is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at the University of Michigan from 1989 to 1993 where he was selected as a first-team All-Big Ten receiver in both 1992 and 1993. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the 1994 NFL Draft and played nine seasons in the National Football League with the Cleveland Browns (1994–1995), Baltimore Ravens (1996–1997), Kansas City Chiefs (1998–2001), and Minnesota Vikings (2002). In 2000, he set a Kansas City Chiefs single-season record with 1,391 receiving yards. He is currently employed as an assistant coach in charge of wide receivers at Morgan State University.
Theodore Ginn Jr. is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons. He played college football at Ohio State and was drafted by the Miami Dolphins ninth overall in the 2007 NFL Draft. Ginn also played for the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and Chicago Bears as a return specialist and wide receiver.
Thomas Henry Casanova III is a former American football player and politician. He played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cincinnati Bengals for six seasons and was invited to three Pro Bowls, as well as an All-Pro in 1976. He played college football at Louisiana State University, where he was a three-time first-team All-American. He is a Republican former member of the Louisiana State Senate, having served a single term from 1996 to 2000.

As a tight end, he caught 160 passes for 1,648 yards and seven touchdowns.
Patrick De'mon Peterson Jr. is an American football cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he won the Chuck Bednarik Award as the best defensive player in the country, the Jim Thorpe Award as the best defensive back, and was unanimously recognized as an All-American. He was selected fifth overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Peterson was named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first eight seasons in the NFL. In 2021, he signed with the Vikings as a free agent after 10 seasons with Arizona.
Randall Ladonald Cobb II is an American football wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Kentucky, and was selected by the Packers in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He also played one season each for the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans.
Tavon Wesley Austin is an American football wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at West Virginia where he received All-American honors twice. He was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Travis Jayvinski Benjamin is an American football wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Miami. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Todd Jerome Gurley II is an American football running back who is a free agent. He played college football at Georgia, where he earned All-SEC honors in 2012 and 2013. Gurley was drafted by the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League with the tenth overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Despite missing the first three weeks of the 2015 NFL season due to a torn ACL suffered during his final year at Georgia, Gurley rushed for 1,106 yards in his rookie season and was voted AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. He was also named AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year following the 2017 season after scoring 19 offensive touchdowns.
Albert Wilson II is an American football wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Georgia State Panthers. He still holds several GSU records, including most touchdown receptions, longest pass play, and longest punt return. Wilson has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Ryan Switzer is an American football wide receiver and punt returner for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). Switzer played college football at North Carolina and was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was also a member of the Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers.
