Toe Fat is the first studio album by the British hard rock band Toe Fat. It was released in May 1970 on Parlophone in the UK and Rare Earth, a division of Motown Records in the US. [3]

Contents

After signing with Rare Earth and Parlophone, the band released their debut single, "Working Nights" b/w "Bad Side of the Moon". [3]

Cover artwork

The cover art consists of four human figures on a beach who have had toes superimposed over their faces. The original release featured a nude woman standing over a crouched man, but the North American release replaced this with a lamb. The art was designed by art group Hipgnosis. [4]

John Glascock was a British bass guitarist and singer. Glascock was best known for being the bassist and occasional lead vocalist of the rock band Carmen from 1972 to 1975 as well as the bass guitarist for progressive rock band Jethro Tull from 1976 until his death in 1979. Glascock died at the age of 28 as a result of a congenital heart valve defect, which was worsened by an infection caused by an abscessed tooth.

From 1993, Savage had a solo career and released albums, Nothing Broken (2000), Wrong Man's Hands (2004) and Rare Songs & Performances 1989–2004. He also collaborated with other artists for their albums, such as Soon Will Be Tomorrow and Quickie for Ducky.

Rock and Roll Madonna 1970 single by Elton John

"Rock and Roll Madonna" is a song by Elton John with lyrics written by Bernie Taupin. The song was released as a single in Britain in 1970, where it never charted. It appeared on several bootlegs and rarities compilations, such as 1992's Rare Masters, before it appeared on the 1995 remaster of his self-titled album. The song structure is, as the title says, a rock and roll song. Live-effects have been added, with an audience cheering throughout most of the song, a technique that would be used similarly three years later on Bennie and the Jets. The b-side, "Grey Seal", was re-recorded in 1973 for inclusion on John's seventh album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

The Paramounts were an English beat group, based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. They had one hit single with their cover version of "Poison Ivy", which reached #35 on the UK Singles Chart in 1964, but are primarily known as the forerunner to Procol Harum.

Roy Frederick Young was a British rock and roll singer, pianist and keyboard player. He first recorded in the late 1950s before performing in Hamburg with the Beatles. After a stint with Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers, he released several albums with his own band as well as recording with Chuck Berry and David Bowie, among others.

Bad Suns American indie rock band

Bad Suns is an American rock band from Woodland Hills, California, formed in 2012. The band currently consists of Christo Bowman, Gavin Bennett, Miles Morris and Ray Libby. A majority of the band members are from Los Angeles, California. The group has been signed to Vagrant Records, where they released their debut album Language & Perspective in 2014. The band's sound is inspired from 1970s and 1980s post-punk pioneers like The Cure and Elvis Costello. Their second album was released on September 16, 2016, titled Disappear Here. Their third and most recent album, Mystic Truth, was released on March 22, 2019. The band has since released three singles, I'm Not Having Any Fun, Unstable, and Baby Blue Shades. I'm Not Having Any Fun and Unstable were originally intended for release on Mystic Truth but were later removed from the album. They were released on April 24th and May 15th, 2020, respectively. Baby Blue Shades was produced by Eric Palmquist, who worked with the band on their first two albums, Language & Perspective and Disappear Here. Baby Blue Shades was released on September 28, 2020. The band is 80% complete with their fourth studio album and is expected to release it in 2021.

<i>Dumb Blood</i> 2017 studio album by Vant

Dumb Blood is the debut studio album by Indie rock band Vant. The album, produced by Sam Miller, was released on 17 February 2017 by Parlophone. A deluxe edition of the album was simultaneously released featuring tracks from the band's "Karma Seeker" EP, B-sides and previously un-released songs.
