Tomb Mold is a Canadian death metal band from Toronto.

Contents

Formed in 2016, the band released their debut studio album Primordial Malignity, the following year. In 2018 they released their second album Manor of Infinite Forms, followed by their Planetary Clairvoyance a year later. [1] [2] The band was relatively inactive for the next few years, releasing no new material until an EP titled Aperture of Body in 2022.

On 11 September 2023, they announced their fourth album The Enduring Spirit , which was released only four days later. [3] [4] The album was met with positive reception upon its release. [5] [6] The album was a longlisted nominee for the 2024 Polaris Music Prize. [7]

The Enduring Spirit is the fourth studio album by Canadian death metal band Tomb Mold. It was released on September 15, 2023, through 20 Buck Spin. Physical copies were released on October 13. It marks their first studio release in four years, following Planetary Clairvoyance (2019).

The 2024 edition of the Canadian Polaris Music Prize was presented on September 17, 2024 at Massey Hall.
