Anton Engelbert "Toni" Sailer was an Austrian alpine ski racer, considered among the best in the sport. At age 20, he won all three gold medals in alpine skiing at the 1956 Winter Olympics. He nearly duplicated the feat at the 1958 World Championships with two golds and a silver. He also won world titles both years in the combined, then a "paper" race, but awarded with medals by the International Ski Federation (FIS).
Toni Kukoč is a Croatian former professional basketball player who serves as Special Advisor to Jerry Reinsdorf, the owner of the Chicago Bulls. After a highly successful period in European basketball, he was one of the first established European stars to play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Kukoč played for four NBA teams between 1993 and 2006, winning the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award in 1996. He is a three-time NBA champion, having won championships with the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls in 1996, 1997, and 1998.

Ludwig Siebert is a West German former bobsledder who competed during the 1960s. He won two gold medals in the four-man event at the FIBT World Championships. The gold in 1966 was awarded following a crash that killed his fellow athlete Toni Pensperger during the four-man event. Pensperger was posthumously awarded the gold medal while Siebert and his surviving teammates Helmut Werzer and Roland Ebert received their golds as well.

Arie Gerrit van Vliet was a Dutch sprint cyclist. Between 1934 and 1957, he won 13 medals at world championships, including four gold medals, and set several world records in sprint events, despite the interruption by World War II. He also won a gold medal in 1000 m time trial and a silver medal in the individual sprint at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin. His Olympic sprint race was obstructed by the winner, German cyclist Toni Merkens, who was however not disqualified, but merely fined for 100 German marks.

Toni Maree Cronk is a field hockey goalkeeper from Australia, who made her debut for the Australian women's national team in October 2001 in the test series against New Zealand in Melbourne. Nicknamed Cronky she was a member of the Hockeyroos at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Great Britain. The team ended up in fifth place in the overall-rankings on both occasions.
