Anthony Hung Wing-sing (born 6 December 1983) is a Hong Kong actor and television host currently contracted to TVB. He was formerly a host for Now TV.

Biography

Hung studied overseas in New Zealand at the Auckland Grammar School. After returning to Hong Kong, Hung graduated from the University of Hong Kong at the age of 27.

He hosts both reality and travel shows. [1] At the 2013 TVB Anniversary Awards, he was awarded the best host together with partner Priscilla Wong for their show Pilgrimage of Wealth 2. [2] In 2015, he won the Most Improved Male Artiste award at the TVB Anniversary Awards.

Hung has also published his own book titled, "Tony's Secret Holiday" (Tony秘密假期).

The TVB Anniversary Awards, officially known as the TVB Awards Presentation, is an annual awards ceremony honouring TVB's programming achievements in Hong Kong television; despite claims that it is the region's equivalent to the American Emmy and the Australian Logie, no other networks are allowed to enter their programmes into TVB competition, and it is awarded solely to TVB programming. Winners are awarded a copy of the golden TVB anniversary statuette, which depicts a man and a woman holding up TVB's square logo. The TVB Anniversary Awards are only one of three TVB awards given out. The other two types of TVB awards that are given out before the anniversary awards are: TVB Star Awards Malaysia and StarHub TVB Awards (Singapore). Sidewalk Scientist is a Hong Kong TV programme broadcast by TVB and presented by Kaki Leung, Ali Lee, Jacqueline Wong, Mayanne Mak, Sammi Cheung, Roxanne Tong, Crystal Fung, Bowie Cheung, Tiffany Lau, Judy Kwong, Regina Ho, Honey Ho, Eunice Chan and Joey Thye. This programme explores the scientific knowledge in daily life through different experiments. Despite its English title, there are also segments to correct common misuse of English or Chinese, to clarify of legal misconceptions and to introduce local history. Sammy Leung was invited as guest host of the special episode of season 1 and has since become a returning guest host in following seasons. In season 2, a male guest host will join in as 'Captain'.
