This article presents the discography of Ringo Starr, former drummer and occasional singer and songwriter of British rock band the Beatles. When the band broke up in the spring of 1970, Starr embarked on a solo career. Along with the other Beatles, he spent the first half of the seventies on Apple Records, the label created by the band for themselves. Starr moved to Atlantic Records after his contract with EMI expired and his career diminished in commercial impact, even though he continued to record and eventually tour with his All-Starr Band in 1989 and continues to do so today.
British Hit Singles & Albums was a music reference book originally published in the United Kingdom by the publishing arm of the Guinness breweries, Guinness Superlatives. Later editions were published by HiT Entertainment. It listed all the singles and albums featured in the Top 75 pop charts in the UK. In 2004 the book became an amalgamation of two earlier Guinness publications, originally known as British Hit Singles and British Hit Albums. The publication of this amalgamation ceased in 2006, with Guinness World Records being sold to The Jim Pattison Group, owner of Ripley's Believe It or Not!. At this point, the Official UK Charts Company teamed up with Random House/Ebury Publishing to release a new version of the book under the Virgin Books brand. Entitled The Virgin Book of British Hit Singles, it was first published in November 2008 with a separate albums book and second edition being published over the next couple of years.

Atlantic 252 was an Irish longwave radio station broadcasting across Ireland and Great Britain on 252 kHz from its 1988 purpose-built transmission site at Clarkstown radio transmitter, County Meath, which provided service to Atlantic 252 from 1989 until 2002. The station's studios were located 12 km (7 mi) away in Mornington House, Summerhill Road, Trim, County Meath. Atlantic 252 also had sales offices and studios at 74, Newman Street in London.

Charles Barry Johnston, also known as Barry Alexander, is a British writer, audiobook producer, radio presenter and songwriter. He is the eldest son of the BBC cricket commentator Brian Johnston. He was a member of the British vocal group Design in the 1970s and later presented radio shows on KLOA-AM in California, US and on BBC Radio in the UK. He is now an award-winning producer of audiobooks and has also edited and written several books, including biographies of Kenneth Horne and of his father, Brian Johnston.

Hal Hinson is an American film critic who wrote for The Washington Post from 1987 to 1997. As of July 2015 he has 887 reviews collected on the website Rotten Tomatoes. Hinson has been cited as a critic who is unpopular with his fellow critics, as he is not afraid to give a polarized review; for instance, he lauded Hudson Hawk, which was otherwise universally panned. Another example is his review for Super Mario Bros., which went against the critical consensus. Hinson wrote an essay on Montgomery Clift, entitled "Some Notes on Method Acting" for Sight & Sound in 1984. He also reviewed for Film Comment in the mid 1980s.
