Torhild Aarbergsbotten (born 6 December 1969) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party.
She served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Sør-Trøndelag during the terms 2009–2013 and 2013–2017. [1] She hails from Sande i Sunnfjord, but resides in Ørland Municipality and has been a member of the municipal council of Ørland Municipality and the Sør-Trøndelag county council.

The 317-square-kilometre (122 sq mi) municipality existed from 1896 until its dissolution in 2020 when it became part of Orkland Municipality. It was part of the Fosen region. The administrative centre was the village of Selbekken. Other villages in the municipality included Ingdalen, Lensvik, Vassbygda, Vernes, and Leksa. The Brekstad–Valset Ferry connected Agdenes to the town of Brekstad in Ørland municipality on the other side of the Trondheimsfjorden.
Bjugn is a former municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1853 until its dissolution in 2020 when it was merged into Ørland Municipality. It was part of the Fosen region. The village of Botngård was the administrative centre of Bjugn Municipality. Other villages in Bjugn included Høybakken, Jøssund, Lysøysundet, Nes, Oksvoll, and Vallersund. Bjugn was on the Robek-list in 2015.

Fosen District Court was a district court in Trøndelag county, Norway. The court was based at the Fosen Tinghus in the town of Brekstad in Ørland Municipality. The court existed from 1591 until 2021. It had jurisdiction over the municipalities of Ørland, Bjugn, Frøya, Hitra, Indre Fosen, Osen, Roan, and Åfjord. Cases from this court could be appealed to Frostating Court of Appeal. The court was last led by the acting chief judge Leif Otto Østerbø. This court employed a chief judge, two other judges, and several prosecutors and administrators.
