Catherine OHara Canadian-American actress, comedian, and screenwriter

Catherine Anne O'Hara is a Canadian actress, comedian, writer, and singer. She is the recipient of several accolades, including a Genie Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and five Canadian Screen Awards. She was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honored with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara first drew notice as an actress in 1974 as a member of The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. She landed her first significant television role starring opposite John Candy and Dan Aykroyd in the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975–1978). The following year, O'Hara and Candy began work on the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976–84), where she drew critical acclaim for both her work as a comedic actress and writer, winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981.

Armand Douglas Hammer is an American actor. The son of businessman Michael Armand Hammer and the great-grandson of oil tycoon Armand Hammer, he began his acting career with guest appearances in several television series. Steven Yeun is a Korean-American actor. He is best known for his roles as Glenn Rhee in the television series The Walking Dead (2010–2016) and Ben in the film Burning (2018). The latter earned him critical acclaim and several accolades, including the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor. He has been nominated for two Saturn Awards. In 2021, he starred in Minari (2020), earning critical acclaim and nominations including from the Screen Actors Guild for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, becoming the first Asian-American actor to be nominated.

The Rogers Best Canadian Film Award is presented annually by the Toronto Film Critics Association to the film judged by the organization's members as the year's best Canadian film. In 2012, the cash prize accompanying the award was increased to $100,000, making it the largest arts award in Canada. Each year, two runners-up also receive $5,000. The award is funded and presented by Rogers Communications, which is a founding sponsor of the association's awards gala.

The Jay Scott Prize is an annual film award presented by the Toronto Film Critics Association, in conjunction with commercial sponsor Stella Artois, to an emerging talent in the Canadian film industry. It is an international co-production by producers in Poland, France and the United Kingdom. <i>Anthropocene: The Human Epoch</i>

Anthropocene: The Human Epoch is a Canadian documentary film that premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. The third film in a series of collaborations between filmmakers Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas de Pencier with photographer Edward Burtynsky, following Manufactured Landscapes and Watermark, the film explores the emerging concept of a geological epoch called the Anthropocene, defined by the impact of humanity on natural development. It is part of the larger Anthropocene Project which includes museum shows that opened at the Art Gallery of Ontario and the National Gallery of Canada in September 2018 and the publication of two books, one centered on essays, and the other one on photographs. The film is narrated by Alicia Vikander.

Hustlers is a 2019 American crime drama film written and directed by Lorene Scafaria, based on New York magazine's 2015 article "The Hustlers at Scores" by Jessica Pressler. The film stars Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo, and Cardi B. It follows a crew of New York City strippers who begin to steal money by drugging stock traders and CEOs who visit their club, then running up their credit cards. Lopez also served as a producer on the film through Nuyorican Productions, alongside Jessica Elbaum, Will Ferrell, and Adam McKay through their Gloria Sanchez banner.

Sofia Bohdanowicz Canadian film director

Sofia Bohdanowicz is a Canadian filmmaker. She is known for her collaborations with Deragh Campbell and made her feature film directorial debut in 2016 with Never Eat Alone. Her second feature film, Maison du Bonheur, was a finalist for the Rogers Best Canadian Film Award at the 2018 Toronto Film Critics Association Awards. That year, she won the Jay Scott Prize from the Toronto Film Critics Association. It was released digitally on Apple TV+ on December 11, 2020. It received widespread universal acclaim from critics, who praised the animation, emotional depth, performances and characters.
