The Torre Mayor is a skyscraper in Mexico City, Mexico that is the eighth tallest building in Mexico with a height of 225 meters. From its completion in 2003 until 2010, it was the tallest building in Latin America; it was surpassed by the 236 m (774 ft) high Ocean Two in Panama City, Panama. The Torre Mayor was developed by Canadian businessman Paul Reichmann, who also maintained part ownership until his death in 2013. It is also part-owned by a group of institutional investors. The building was designed by the architectural firms of Zeidler Partnership Architects and Executive Architects Adamson Associates Architects, both of Toronto. The structural engineers and designers were The Cantor Seinuk Group from New York City in association with Enrique Martínez Romero S.A. in Mexico City.
The Vasco da Gama Tower is a 160-metre (520 ft) lattice tower with skyscraper in the civil parish of Parque das Nações, the municipality of Lisbon, in Portugal. Built on the north bank of the Tagus river, it is named after the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama. The tower portion is the tallest structure in Lisbon.

The Torre Generali was a proposed supertall located in Panama City of Panama. If it had been built, the tower would have stood 318 meters tall, contain 52 floors, and be completed in 2003. It also would have been the tallest tower in Latin America and be the first tower there to break the 1,000-foot (300 m) mark. The upper floors, on clear days, would have offered views of both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. However, the economic conditions in 2001 forced the cancellation of the project in August of that year.
The Torre Planetarium is a two-tower skyscraper in the design development stage located in Panama City. The taller tower, Tower 1, will be 343.4 metres (1,127 ft) tall and have 92 floors. The second and shorter Tower 2 will be 305.8 metres (1,003 ft) tall and contain 82 floors. Both buildings will have two levels of basements. The original design for Torre Planetarium was a 300 metres (984 ft) tall, 82 story tower.

The Faros del Panamá is a skyscraper complex currently cancelled in Panama City, Panama. The complex, designed by Chapman Taylor, includes Torre Central, an 84 floor building with a planned height of 346 metres. As its name states, Torre Central is in the middle of Faros de Panamá's three tower complex. Torre Central will be the tallest of the three, rising from a common podium with the other two towers. The two smaller towers, rising on either side of Torre Central will be similar in design. They are named, very simply, Torre Oeste on the west and Torre Este on the east. Despite being small compared to Torre Central, the East and West Tower will still be 290 m tall and have 73 floors. The name of the complex, Faros del Panamá, translates into English as Lighthouses of Panama.
Gran Torre Costanera, previously known as Costanera Center Torre 2, and also known as El Costanera by the locals, and previously known as Torre Gran Costanera, is a 62-story skyscraper in Santiago, Chile. It is the tallest building in South America, the second tallest building in Latin America and the fifth tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere. The tower was designed by Chilean architects Alemparte Barreda & Asociados, the Argentine architect César Pelli and the Canadian company Watt International. The building will be the tallest in South America until the completion of the newest Senna Tower in the city of Balneário Camboriú in Brazil with 509 m (1,670 ft) tall.
Ocean Two is a residential skyscraper in the Costa del Este district of Panama City, Panama. Construction of the 73-story, 245.7 m (806 ft) building began in 2006 and was completed in 2010. At the time of its completion, it became the tallest building in Panama and Latin America. It was then surpassed by The Point in 2011.
The Aqualina Tower is a residential skyscraper in Punta Pacífica, Panama City. The building is 210 meters tall and has 63 floors. Its construction was carried out by Fajardo Moreno Arquitectos and Btesh & Virzi Promoción Inmobiliaria, which began in 2005 and finished in 2007. It is one of the tallest buildings in the city, surpassing the 200 meters between the other skyscrapers.
Bicsa Financial Center, first named Ice Tower, then Star Bay Tower, is a mixed-use 66-story skyscraper in Avenida Balboa, Panama City. Standing 267 m (876 ft) tall, it is the third tallest building in Panama City and fourth in Latin America.
