Tour de La Sensitive was a short 1994 concert tour by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and their first with guitarist, Dave Navarro who joined the band in 1993.
The band had just finished their hugely successful Blood Sugar Sex Magik Tour which saw the departure of guitarist John Frusciante in 1992. The band quickly regrouped and replaced him with Arik Marshall, who would finish out the remainder of the tour. Following the tour in 1993, the band began work on their next album but the chemistry with Marshall just wasn't there so they decided to fire him. Again left without a guitarist the band decided to hold open auditions by taking out an ad in the newspaper which was a total mess due to all the people showing up. One of the guitarists that showed up was Buckethead who claimed to have never even heard of the band or their songs. The band enjoyed his rehearsal however Flea felt he didn't mesh well with the band's sound. [1] Shortly after the failed auditions, singer Anthony Kiedis ended up discovering Jesse Tobias, guitarist for a local L.A. band called Mother Tongue. The band asked Tobias to join, which he accepted and they started writing and rehearsing for the next album. Drummer Chad Smith informed the band that Navarro, who after turning them down once in 1992 after the departure of John Frusciante was finally ready to join. Tobias was fired and in September 1993 Navarro was hired as the band's seventh guitarist.
The band went right into writing for the next album and decided to mount a short tour titled Tour de La Sensitive which was named after the fake biker gang nickname, Los Sensitives that Navarro gave four members. The tour saw the band performing a memorable set at Woodstock '94 which featured them in lightbulb costumes, which Navarro hated and dressed as Jimi Hendrix for their encore, and two opening dates for The Rolling Stones which singer Anthony Kiedis has said was a miserable experience. The tour was the first to feature songs that would be recorded for the 1995 album, One Hot Minute .

The band were already rehearsing and writing for their next album while on this tour. Songs such as "Aeroplane" "Pea" and "Warped", which would appear on One Hot Minute , were performed for the first time although not all of the songs had complete lyrics that would be featured on the studio versions. The band also played intros and outros to "Deep Kick" and "Walkabout"; however, the full songs were not played until the tour to support the album. The instrumental song "Grand Pappy du Plenty" from their 1984 debut made its return for the first time since 1988 when it was used as an intro to "Give It Away".
In 2016, the band's performance at Woodstock '94 was made available on CD and Vinyl, however, it wasn't officially released by the band.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1982, comprising vocalist Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and guitarist John Frusciante. Their music incorporates elements of alternative rock, funk, punk rock, hard rock, hip hop, and psychedelic rock. Their eclectic range has influenced genres such as funk metal, rap metal, rap rock, and nu metal. With over 120 million records sold worldwide, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the top-selling bands of all time. They hold the records for most number-one singles (15), most cumulative weeks at number one (91) and most top-ten songs (28) on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. They have won six Grammy Awards, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, and in 2022 received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
John Anthony Frusciante is an American musician. He has been the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers across three stints, and has released 11 solo albums and 7 EPs, ranging in style from acoustic guitar to electronic music. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2012. Rolling Stone named Frusciante among the greatest guitarists of all time.

The album's subject matter incorporates sexual innuendos and references to drugs and death, as well as themes of lust and exuberance.

Following a series of short-term replacements, the band hired guitarist Dave Navarro in 1993; it was his only studio album with the band. Recording for the album took place at the Sound Factory in Hollywood from June 1994 to February 1995. It marked the second collaboration between the band and producer Rick Rubin.
Mother's Milk is the fourth studio album by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, released on August 16, 1989 by EMI Records. After the death of founding guitarist Hillel Slovak and the subsequent departure of drummer Jack Irons, vocalist Anthony Kiedis and bassist Flea regrouped with the addition of guitarist John Frusciante and drummer Chad Smith. Frusciante's influence altered the band's sound by placing more emphasis on melody than rhythm, which had dominated the band's previous material. Returning producer Michael Beinhorn favored heavy metal guitar riffs as well as overdubbing. Frusciante perceived Beinhorn's taste as excessive, and as a result, the two constantly fought over the album's guitar sound.

"Under the Bridge" is a song by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers and the eleventh track on their fifth studio album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991). Vocalist Anthony Kiedis wrote the lyrics while reflecting on loneliness and the struggles of being clean from drugs, and almost did not share it with the band. Released in March 1992 by Warner Bros. Records, "Under the Bridge" was praised by critics and fans for its emotional weight. The song was a commercial success and the band's highest-charting single, peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, number one on the Cash Box Top 100 and certified platinum. It was also a success in other countries, mostly charting within the top 10. Gus Van Sant directed the song's music video, which was filmed in Los Angeles.
"Breaking the Girl" is a song by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers from their fifth studio album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991). Live at Slane Castle is a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert video released on November 17, 2003, two years after the release of their last concert DVD, Off the Map. The concert, which took place on August 23, 2003, was their first headlining show at Slane Castle in Ireland having previously performed there in August 2001 opening for U2. The show was one of the biggest ever for the band with 80,000 fans in attendance with tickets selling out in under two and a half hours. Foo Fighters also played as one of several supporting acts, and have their own DVD footage of the concert. Other acts supporting on the day included Queens of the Stone Age, PJ Harvey, Feeder and Morcheeba.
Josh Adam Klinghoffer is an American musician best known for being the guitarist for the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers from 2009 to 2019, with whom he recorded two studio albums, I'm with You (2011) and The Getaway (2016), and the B-sides compilation I'm Beside You (2013). Klinghoffer took the place of his friend and frequent collaborator John Frusciante in 2009, after a period as a touring member. At age 32, Klinghoffer was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2012, making him the youngest at the time. He has also been a touring member of rock bands Pearl Jam and Jane's Addiction.
The Stadium Arcadium World Tour was a 2006–2007 concert tour by the band Red Hot Chili Peppers in support of their ninth studio album, Stadium Arcadium. The band started out with a pre-tour promotional leg of dates around the world while the world tour was composed of six legs, three in Europe, one in Australia, New Zealand and Asia, and the other two in the US and Canada.

The Mother's Milk Tour was a worldwide concert tour by Red Hot Chili Peppers to support their fourth studio album Mother's Milk, the breakthrough album for the band which launched them to bigger success than ever before. It was the first full tour with guitarist John Frusciante and drummer Chad Smith, who joined late in the previous year.
The Uplift Mofo Party Tour was a concert tour by Red Hot Chili Peppers to support their third studio album The Uplift Mofo Party Plan. Founding drummer, Jack Irons returned to the band the previous year to finish out the band's tour and record the next album, The Uplift Mofo Party Plan, which ended up being the only album and full tour to feature the four founding band members: Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Hillel Slovak and Irons. It was the band's biggest tour at the time and featured their first trip to Europe. Kiedis, who started to develop a major drug problem on the previous tour, started to fall deeper into his addiction and Slovak's addiction to heroin only grew stronger as well. Slovak died of a heroin overdose a few weeks after the end of the tour on June 25, 1988. The surviving three members regrouped for a small boat trip with then manager, Lindy Goetz. It was there that Irons decided he could no longer deal with being in the band and Slovak's death was too hard for him to handle so he decided to quit the band again, this time for good.
Cardiff, Wales: 6/23/04 is an "official" bootleg live album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, released in 2015. It was recorded on June 23, 2004 in Cardiff, Wales at Millennium Stadium during the band's Roll on the Red Tour. The show is notable for featuring the only officially released version of "Mini-Epic ". The album consists of a soundboard recording of the full show from that date, and an MP3 version is available as a free download through the band's website. A lossless (FLAC) version of the album is also available for purchase.
"Goodbye Angels" is the fourth single from The Getaway, an album by the American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. The song was released to radio on April 4, 2017. This would be the final single the band would release with guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, as previous guitarist John Frusciante returned to the band in 2019.
Woodstock 1994 is a bootleg recording and an unofficial release of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, recorded on August 14, 1994 at Woodstock '94. The concert was released on CD and 2-LP vinyl in 2016.
