Towrang railway station was a railway station on the Main South railway line, serving the locality of Towrang, New South Wales, Australia. It originally opened as a platform on 19 May 1869, called Mannafields after a property of the same name. On 11 March 1870 the platform was renamed Towrang. The initial platform was later replaced by a new station to the north, in 1874. [1] It was an active station with a siding to load local agricultural produce. [2] The station closed on 9 November 1974 and was demolished in the 1980s. [3] Little evidence remains of the station, although two sets of points were later installed at the site to allow access to either track at times of track maintenance.

The station is on the Fremantle and Airport lines, which are part of the Transperth public transport network. It has an island platform, accessed by a pedestrian underpass. The station is only partially accessible due to a steep ramp. Services on each line run every 12 minutes during peak hour and every 15 minutes outside peak hour and on weekends and public holidays. At night, trains are every half-hour or hour. The journey to Perth railway station is 6.0 kilometres (3.7 mi), and takes 9 minutes.
Towrang is a village in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia, in Goulburn Mulwaree Council. It is approximately 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) north of Goulburn on the Hume Highway 180 kilometres (110 mi) south from Sydney. At the 2016 census, Towrang had a population of 171.
Wickham railway station is a former railway station which was located in the Newcastle suburb of Wickham, New South Wales. Situated on the Newcastle railway line, it was serviced by Central Coast & Newcastle Line and Hunter Line services until its closure. Wickham, along with Civic station, succeeded Honeysuckle station, which was closed in 1872, following its own replacement by Newcastle station. Following urban growth in the Newcastle region, both Wickham and Civic were opened to meet the growing demand for public transport in the region. The station's signal box, located at the station's western end at Stewart Avenue, was replaced in the 1960s with a building recognised as Australia's first television-equipped level crossing.

Wellard railway station is a railway station in Wellard, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is on the Mandurah railway line, which is part of the Transperth commuter rail network, and is located at the centre of a transit oriented development. It has two side platforms located in a cutting, accessed by a ground-level station concourse. Services run every 10 minutes during peak, and every 15 minutes between peak. The journey to Perth railway station is 37.1 kilometres (23.1 mi), and takes 30 minutes. The station has a bus interchange with four bus stands, and three regular bus routes.
The Main Suburban railway line is the technical name for the trunk railway line between Redfern railway station and Parramatta railway station in Sydney, Australia, but now generally refers to the section between Redfern and where the Old Main South Line branches off at Granville Junction. The railway line then continues on as the Main Western line towards the Blue Mountains. This term distinguished this trunk line from the Illawarra Line which branched south from the Illawarra Junction to Wollongong, and later the North Shore line which carried trains north over the Harbour Bridge.
Carrick railway station was a railway station on the Main South railway line in New South Wales, Australia. It opened in 1869 initially as Towrang, but was renamed Carrick in 1879, after sharing names with neighbouring station Towrang for nine years. Carrick closed to passenger services in 1975. It was later completely demolished and no trace of the station now survives.
The Carlingford railway line is a former heavy rail line in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, which now largely forms part of the Parramatta Light Rail. It was opened from Clyde to Subiaco in January 1885, then by means of the construction of a bridge across the Parramatta River, to Carlingford in April 1896. It closed on 5 January 2020 with most of the line undergoing conversion to light rail, while a short section of the line was retained for use by Sydney Trains.
