Trachysomus clarkei is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Martins and Galileo in 2009. It is known from Bolivia. [1]

He was president of the Linnean Society from 1894 to 1896, and was elected a fellow of the Royal Society in 1882. He worked at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew until his death in 1906.
