Treaty City Titans were an Irish semi-professional rugby league team based in Limerick, Ireland. They played in the Munster Conference of then called 'Irish Elite League' which was the top tier of competition in domestic Rugby league. They played their matches at Tom Clifford Park.
It was in the first season in 2005, that they won the Elite League winning all of their main eight games along with beating the Carlow Crusaders 24-10 in the Grand Final.
In the 2007 season they became champions again. Out of the ten matches played they won eight and drew only twice, both to the Carlow Crusaders. The first match in June, finished at 22 points each and then in August they drew 0-0. In a repeat to last season, the Grand Final was between the Titans and the Crusaders. The Titans won 38-22 at Old Crescent R.F.C.
In July 2007 the Sky Sports programme Boots'N'All visited Limerick to record a piece on Rugby League in Ireland. The Titans played a friendly match with their "A" team to allow footage to be recorded.
In November of that year, for the Ireland Wolfhounds important match over Russia, to allow entry into the 2008 Rugby League World Cup, three Titans players: Michael "Mike" Brodie, Billy Treacy and Kevin O'Riordan, were selected in the team. They eventually won 58-18 and clinched a place in the World Cup. The same players were expected to feature in that tournament alongside Irish Super League players.[ needs update ]

Oliver Moran is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Ahane and was a member of the Limerick senior inter-county team from 1997 to 2009. During his career as a hurler, he has won 3 County Championships with Ahane, 2 Fitzgibbon Cup titles with Waterford IT, a National Hurling League and Waterford Crystal Cup title with Limerick, 5 Railway Cup titles with Munster and a shinty/hurling international with Ireland. Ollie's individual accolades include a Munster All-Star award in 2004 and a GAA All-Star award in 2007. He was also captain of the Limerick Senior Hurling Team in 2005. In 2013 he appeared as a studio analyst on The Sunday Game.
The Carlow Crusaders were a rugby league team based in Carlow, Ireland. They played in the Irish Elite League. They played home games at Oak Park, Carlow. The Crusaders were forced to play most of their games in Cill Dara RFC, Kildare as Oak Park is owned & used by Carlow RFC.

Mossy Lawler is an Irish former rugby union player who currently works as a coach. He primarily played as a wing or fullback, but also covered fly-half and centre. Lawler spent most of his playing career with Munster, playing in the Celtic League and Heineken Cup, and also played three games on a trial period for English Premiership side London Wasps in 2008. After leaving the professional game, he continued to play at amateur level in Ireland for Shannon and UL Bohemians, before retiring fully in 2015.
