Gilchrist County is a county located in the north central part of the U.S. state of Florida. Organized in 1925 from the western part of Alachua, it is the last county to be formed in the state. As of the 2020 census, the population was 17,864. The county seat is Trenton.

St. James A. M. E. Church is a congregation of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in Sanford, Florida, United States. The oldest church in Sanford founded by African Americans, it was established in 1867, when the church purchased land on the corner of East Ninth Street and South Cypress Avenue.
The Old Christ Church, also known as Christ Church, built in 1832 in Pensacola, Florida is a historic Episcopal church building. It is one of the oldest surviving church buildings in Florida. On May 3, 1974, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
Stadhampton is a village and civil parish about 7 miles southeast of Oxford in South Oxfordshire, England. Stadhampton is close to the River Thame, a tributary of the River Thames. The village was first mentioned by name in 1146, and was in the ownership of the bishops of Lincoln, the crown, and various Oxford colleges for most of subsequent history. The village includes several buildings of historical and architectural interest, including a parish church with features dating back to the 12th-century.

All Saints' Episcopal Church, Waveland, is an historic Carpenter Gothic church built in 1898 on Crossroads Hill in Waveland, now part of Jensen Beach, Florida. It is the oldest church building located in what is now Martin County, Florida. It is also the northernmost parish in the present-day Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida. The church was built on Brevard County. From 1910-25, it was in St. Lucie County. Since 1925, it has been in Martin County. Its rector, W. Frisby Hendricks III recently, retired and the parish is starting the search process to call a new rector.
The Golden Gate Building, built in 1925, is an historic real estate and land development office building located on State Road A1A at 3225 South East Dixie Highway in the unincorporated community of Golden Gate south of Stuart in Martin County, Florida. It was built by the Golden Gate Development Company to serve as the sales office for its 200 block subdivision called Golden Gate. which was a re-subdivision of a part of the 1911 subdivision called Port Sewall. The Florida Land Boom, however, collapsed before it could be used as such. In 1926, it became the Port Sewall Post Office and it was later used as a church and then as an art studio, before being abandoned and falling into disrepair.
The Old Charlotte County Courthouse is an historic two-story yellow brick courthouse building located at 227 Taylor Street in Punta Gorda, Florida, Florida. Designed in the Classical Revival style by architects Leitner and Henson of St. Petersburg, it was built between 1927 and 1928 by Paul H. Smith of Haines City. Additions were made to the building the 1960s and 1980s but in 1999 it was replaced by a new Justice Center and then fell into disuse. In 2005, the additions having been demolished, the Board of County Commissioners undertook the restoration and renovation of the original 1928 structure that remained. It was reopened to the public in a ceremony on February 29, 2008.
The Old Brevard County Courthouse, renamed in 2006 as the Vassar B. Carlton Historic Titusville Courthouse, is an historic courthouse building located at 506 South Palm Avenue in Titusville, Florida. Designed in the Classical Revival style, it was built in 1912 by Lightman, McDonald and Company to serve as Brevard County's first courthouse building erected in Titusville.
State Road 49 is the state designation for US 19/98/27 Alternate(SR 55) in Chiefland, and US 27(SR 20) in Hildreth east of Branford, Florida. It also includes a county extension in Suwannee County, Florida from Hildreth to the outskirts of Live Oak, Florida.
Christ Episcopal Church is an historic Carpenter Gothic Episcopal church located at 425 North Cherry Street in Monticello, Florida in the United States. Designed by T.M. Feruson of Georgia in the Carpenter Gothic style of architecture with some stick-style detailing, it was built in 1885 to replace a previous church building which burned in 1883. Its steep roof, lancet windows and side belfry and entrance are typical of Carpenter Gothic churches. The church had been organized in 1840 by local Episcopalians who had previously held lay services in their homes. It is still an active parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Florida. The Rev. Mal Jopling is its current rector.
The Gilchrist County Courthouse is an historic two-story red brick courthouse building located at 112 South Main Street in Trenton, Gilchrist County, Florida. It was designed by the Jacksonville firm of Smith, Holborn, and Dozier and was built in 1933 by the Works Progress Administration. This was one of the employment programs of the President Franklin D. Roosevelt administration during the Great Depression, which invested in infrastructure of the country.
Trenton is a historic train station in Trenton, Florida. It was built in 1905 as a stop on the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad line from Newberry to Wilcox and on to Cross City.
Woodmen Hall is an historic 2-story wooden Woodmen of the World building located 217 SW Akron Avenue, corner of SW 3rd Street in Stuart, Martin County, Florida. It was built between 1913-1914 by local master carpenter Sam Matthews. Like many fraternal buildings built in the late 19th century and early 20th century, the ground floor was designed for commercial use, while the upper floor was designed for use as a meeting room for Pineapple Camp No. 150, Woodmen of the World as well as community groups. Prominent members of Pineapple Camp include George W. Parks, who had a general store in what is now the Stuart Heritage Museum and in 2000 was added to the state's list of Great Floridians. Early users of the first floor include H.A. Carlisle's Feed Store. From the 1930s until 1959, Southern Bell used the first floor as a business office, while the Stuart telephone exchange was located on the second floor. Recent uses have included a church and a coffee house and open mic music venue. One group performing in it even calls itself, Woodmen Hall. The building has been recently renovated through the efforts of Stuart Main Street. An elevator has been added. The double outside staircases on the eastern part of the south side have been reduced to one, while an outside staircase has been added on the north side toward Akron Avenue. The two large front windows differ from those shown in a 1925 photograph. "
The old First Baptist Church, founded in 1884, is a church building located on East Wade Street at Northeast 2nd Street in Trenton, Gilchrist County, Florida. It was built with a raised main floor so that its basement could have full size above ground windows. The church plant has been expanded behind it to the north and to the east. Today it is no longer the primary building for the active congregation.
The Coca-Cola Bottling Plant is an historic one-story redbrick building located at 517 North Main Street in Trenton, Gilchrist County, Florida. Built in 1925, the building was listed in 1989 in A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture, published by the University of Florida Press. At the time of its listing, it was "in disrepair and not in use." Today it has been renovated and is being used by the Suwannee Valley Quilt Shoppe and the Suwannee Rose Cafe.
The Bethel A.M.E. Church, known in its early years as Indianapolis Station or the Vermont Street Church, is a historic African Methodist Episcopal Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Organized in 1836, it is the city's oldest African-American congregation. The three-story church on West Vermont Street dates to 1869 and was added to the National Register in 1991. The surrounding neighborhood, once the heart of downtown Indianapolis's African American community, significantly changed with post-World War II urban development that included new hotels, apartments, office space, museums, and the Indiana University–Purdue University at Indianapolis campus. In 2016 the congregation sold their deteriorating church, which will be used in a future commercial development. The congregation built a new worship center at 6417 Zionsville Road in Pike Township, Marion County, Indiana.

Mount Pisgah Lutheran Church, also known in its early years as the First Lutheran Church and First English Lutheran Church and more recently as The Sanctuary on Penn, is located at 701 North Pennsylvania Street in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. The historic church was built by the city's first Lutheran congregation, which organized in 1837, and was its third house of worship. The former church, whose present-day name is The Sanctuary on Penn, is operated as a for-profit event venue.
