Tricky is a British children's animated television programme that aired in the ITV's children's strand CITV on Saturday mornings from 30 August [2] to 20 December 1997. It was the first live children's show hosted by an animated character, a talking dragon named Tricky. His co host was a dragon cat hybrid called Purrdy. Claudia Winkleman appeared as a roving reporter, usually addressed by Tricky as "Claudia Winklebottom".
The show was produced by Real Time Animation for Granada Television. [3]
Tricky made a return to television in 2003; he was renamed as 'Rorry', though Purrdy kept her name, and hosted the children's television channel POP! until 2008.
